I don’t stipulate to the barely suppressed premise (that Melania got paid to appear or that, if she had been “paid” it was by the Trump campaign). But strictly as a form of hypothetical, let’s say for the sake of discussion that she had both been paid to appear AND that the payment came out of Trump’s campaign treasury.

As a contributor to Trump’s campaign, I wouldn’t appreciate his treasury being used to pay his own wife to appear.

What? You have no problem paying his legal bills for crap he did, against the law, but balk at paying his wife, to look like she supports him, simply because she won't if not paid? Where she got $237,000 to show up and act like she supported. To him it is free money, to be used, and by reporting it, it is legal, for a change, thus not adding to the legal fees you are paying. Surely it isn't the nepotism factor, as this is off your campaign donations, not taxes you and I pay, like when he was in office. I just found it interesting, but maybe that is because my money is not involved. Are you going to ask for your donation back?
