As for the Venezuela. You are right. That is being celebrated. He was a dictator, and one who couldn't even win an election he doctored. So not even a good one.

Now ask those same Venezuelans what they thought about Trump's explanation of that capture. I'm sure they appreciated him saying that the US will now "run" their country. Or that he's making it clear that he wants to use THEIR oil for American companies.

In effect he said he views Venezuela.as a colony and not am independent nation.

Which brings me to my objection. It's not that Maduro was removed, it's the way it happened. No congressional oversight or even notification. No attempt to justify it internationally. Simply a US president who decided that Maduro had to go. A president who is openly saying he wants to do the same to other countries, INCLUDING allies.

He is not just destroying US credibility. He is using the exact same rethoric as Russia and China does. Since you brought them in the conversation.
