This must be very confusing for the left. Who to support? Trans, gays or women?

Of course, not freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is anathema to the far left.

Wintemute, the man at the centre of the controversy, maintains he does not promote transphobic views and describes the reaction to his talk as "hysterical."
He says he has a 37 years experience defending LGB human rights and he would never associate with any group that "promotes hate." He said he came to McGill to promote the message that women have human rights too, but they feel intimidated by the trans rights movement.
"So I have to thank the protesters for giving me first-hand experience of that intimidation," said Wintemute after the event. "Probably the majority of women in this country disagree with some of transgender demands but they refuse to say so because they will be seen as intolerant."
Any discussion or criticism is seen as "hate speech," he said. The protesters held signs saying "no debate," he noted, "and many women around the world disagree." The idea that his seminar would lead to genocide of trans people is "absolutely absurd," he said.

It's really easy.

Sex and gender are two words used to describe the same thing. They are interchangeable descriptors. Clone and duplicate is an example. It's called a synonym.

There are only 2 sexes, male and female. Aside from the occasional genetic anomaly there are no other sexes for human beings.

Human beings are born one sex or the other, thus that's what they are. It isn't just a physical trait either on the surface. It's biological, chemical, neurological, even down to DNA.

Any other concepts, ideas or beliefs about the concept of gender are either a result of deep seeded psychological problems, or a fictitious lie, and in the end both are 100% wrong.

The biggest mistake made here by the LG rights people was letting the trans people on the bandwagon.

It's the bridge too far that they are starting to regret bigtime.

Yet they are not synonyms and do not describe the same thing at all.

They were never meant to be used interchangeably.

Sex is biological, gender is a literary term.

Correct. they are born a sex. Gender has no place in science.

Thee is a uk group called the lgb alliance that ostensibly campaigns for gay rights but is in effect an anti trans group.

They are based in Tufton St along with other shadowy right wing organisations.

They have charity status which is being reviewed by the charity comission.

Charities should not promote hate.

Letting them in is also what's leading to pedophiles dipping their toes into the public pool to test it out. Letting trans people go mainstream led to why were publicly seeing a increase in pedos, people calling themselves minor attracted persons, see more people trying to push sex on younger and younger people and so on.

Everytime a society lowers it's morals and standards bar for a fringe group all you do is set the bar closer to the fringe group that is below them. Letting gays get married led to gays becoming mainstream, gays being mainstream led to drag queens being mainstream, which led to trans people going mainstream, which led to all of the alphabet people push sexual behavior on society like drag queen story hour for kids or dildo ring toss at family fairs, which will lead to the sexualization of kids.

Accepting once unacceptable morals and standards as a society desensitizes a society and makes it easier to accept something even worse.

Our society should have just stopped at "whatever two consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business". Now the snowball is turning into an avalanche.

Until the inevitable backlash hits, and at that point normal LG people are hoping they are on our side of the line, not the trannies side.

Lg and people are out of luck hoping I'd be on their side.

I was ok with them until they started to feel the need to try and force themselves into everything, want special treatment and attention and consideration, allowed the other letters to run wild off their coat tails, and being hostile about trying to make people accept them.

Regular gays were fine when they just acted like people. But too many of them chose to act like gay personified over the past few years and I tuned out. I don't really care what happens to them. I wish all of the alphabet people would go away entirely because they made me intolerant of them.

Hmmm, so gay rights is now hate? I did not know that. Of course, you can read minds, so you know better.

They do not campaign for gay rights. They told the comission they would "get around to that".

They just campaign against trannies.

Respected gay activists like Stonewall wont have anything to do with them. Rightly so.

They think the trans craze is a bridge too far, and they are right.

Just like those in the civil rights era thought Johnson's "great society" welfare State was too far after passing civil rights legislation.

Gays are disturbed...trannies are just batshit nuts

Homosexuality is not the default condition of humans, but the deviation is tolerable as long as it isn't made an equal choice when push comes to shove. People truly not attracted to the opposite sex shouldn't be punished for it, but those on the fence shouldn't be told that both are the "correct" choice.

The trans thing on the other hand is just a collection of fetishes using a very rare mental illness as a vehicle to get their kinks mainstreamed.

Wait, do you believe that gay people automatically have to be fully on board with the trans agenda or there's something wrong with them? How does that work? And how does one activist get to be "respected" while another is not? Is there a certification process?
