As many have said, Americans are happy swamp creatures were afraid and now with everything going down the toilet everyone wants to take that fear to the next level.

“‘Context: The evening newscasts on CBS, NBC & ABC average anywhere from 18 to 20 million viewers combined on a typical night,’ Concha explained. ‘Those newscasts do not air in primetime. The January 6 hearings airing in primetime Thursday took in just 11+ million viewers on those three same networks.’ According toNewsbusters, ‘evening newscast audiences on any given night last week were 1.6 times larger than the total number of broadcast viewers who tuned into the hearings on Thursday.’ Of course, one of the issues is that it wasn’t ‘new’; most people have seen most of it and it’s from a year-and-a-half ago. Not to mention that many don’t view it as a legitimate committee, but as a political show trial.”

20 million tuned in for a barely 2 hour Congressional hearing. That's pretty good.
And just wait. Part #1 was largely what we know already and cementing the case that the fault and blame for that day falls squarely on the shoulders of the person who took an oath of office to defend this country four years prior.

Pelosi made it an illegitimate committee from the start when she did not allow the House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to choose his members.
This turned the hearing into just another one of Pelosi's crazy conspiracy smear campaigns.
Only hardcore left wing fanatics are buying this load of BS.
Pelosi has made a spectacle of herself with her ultra partisan tactics.
History will not be kind to her.

Exactly what I said would happen. They hype it up like it's the biggest thing ever on TV & then are totally flabbergasted when nobody GAS because everybody knows they are full of shit.
They always act so surprised when everybody sees through their obvious lies & ignores them.
Then they claim everyone calling them liars & ignoring them is a danger to democracy.
The UNiparty is a bad joke for treasonous scumbags & nobody likes them.
Only the hardest core progbots care about these banana republic show hearings.
Most of them post their nonsense on this board

That is the problem with you Trumpbots. You don't have your facts straight. There was an agreement for a bipartisan 9/11 committee. Equal appointees from each party, a chair appointed by the Democrats and a vice-chair appointed by Republicans, and both chairs would have to agree on any subpoenas. McCarthy blocked that because Trump and the Freedom Caucus opposed.

From the article:

For more contrast, Joe Biden’s “State of the Union” address in March had 38 million viewers. In 2018, President Donald Trump’s first “State of the Union” attracted 45.6 million, in 2019 it was even higher at 46.8 million.
And just wait. Part #1 was largely what we know already and cementing the case that the fault and blame for that day falls squarely on the shoulders of the person who took an oath of office to defend this country four years prior.
And you prove nothing but that you're the target audience of this clown show.

Redstate--they play you guys for fools. First of all, you can't compare viewership of the evening news to prime-time. Yes, prime time has the most viewers, but those viewers have better options. What is there to watch between 5 and 7 pm other than the news. And many households watch the evening news religiously.

20 million viewers, Redstate wants you fools to believe that is bad. Tucker Carlson and Hannity had three million viewers. Did Redstate point out that the hearings had more than six times the viewers that FOX had? The number one prime time show was the NHL Eastern Conference final, 2.48 million viewers. ABC alone had more than twice that number of viewers for it's broadcasting of the hearings.

Are you starting to see the problem. Redstate and other right wing media outlets are lambasting the coverage and screaming of low viewership. The reality is that the opposite is true. At 20 million, which Redstate does not deny, the audience was larger than this year's Oscars, at 16 million.

And 16 million tuned in for this years Oscars ceremony. Bill Clinton drew 66.9 million viewers one month into office as he gave an address to a joint session of Congress. The most viewers of any presidential address EVER.

15 Million More People Tuned in to The Game Awards Than the Oscars

More people watched From Software's Hidetaka Miyazaki pick up the Game of the Year award for the phenomenal Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice than the cast of Green Book visit the stage for their Best Picture statuette at the Oscars.

And because of that the ratings did not suck? Try again.

Why are you looking at Ratings?! You trying to be like Trump or something?

Yay him. Pelosi's clown show is boring as hell, and Americans are tired of Democrat bullshit.

Pelosi will be remembered as the latter day equivalent of Preston Brooks, the Southern Democrat Congressman who savagely beat Northern Senator Charles Sumner with his cane over a dispute about slavery in 1856. I hope the Democrats face the same fate as they did in 1860.

Well if it isn't a big deal to you "patriots", why are you making such a fuss? You scared?

You see, it doesn't have to swing people like you and me. We've already made our minds up.
All it has to do, is swing a few percentage points of independents and moderates in key races.

LOL. The only thing Trump has ever "eagled" was the one he saw.....in the zoo. :auiqs.jpg:
