My take:

(1). Any use of the phrase: 'Press 1 for English' is immediately banned. English is the official language; speak it or wait outside of our borders until you can.

I have no problem with the Press 1 for English buttons or phrases. If companies want to expand their client base, why should the government stop them? If a company wants to work exclusively in Mandarin or in Spanish, or French, why shouldn't they have a freedom to do so?

However, government transactions should be done in English. Our Founding Documents are in English. We speak English in as a nation. But government shouldn't be mandating what they can or can't speak in private as citizens or in businesses.

(2). We will immediately go into a two year isolationist attitude in order to straighten out the greedy big business posture in this country. America will allow NO imports, and we'll do no exports. We will use the 'Wal-Mart 's policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.' We'll make it here and sell it here!

I completely disagree with the isolationist attitude. If you want to promote self sufficiency, go ahead. But destroying the economy completely is a bad idea.

(3). When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it coming in here.

(4). All retired military personnel will be required to man one of the many observation towers located on the southern border of the United States (six month tour). They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

I don't think they should be firing, period. And if we are going to patrol the border, there is no reason we shouldnt be patrolling every border. You honestly think threats can't sneak in from Canada?

(5). Social Security will immediately return to itsoriginal state. If you didn't put nuttin in, you ain't gettin nuttin out. Neither the President nor any other politician will be able to touch it.

Or we could simply abolish it by phasing it out in parts and let people take care of themselves. The only other alternative is to let it go bankrupt and destroy the nation. That way we lose it anyway.

(6). Welfare. -- Checks will be handed out on Fridays, at the end of the 40 hour school week, the successful completion of a urinalysis test for drugs, and passing grades.

Eliminate Federal Welfare altogether, let the states govern welfare on their own and above all else promote private charity.

(7). Professional Athletes -- Steroids? The FIRST time you check positive you're banned from sports ... for life.

Let the Athletics organizations govern themselves. We shouldn't waste our time with them.

(8). Crime -- We will adopt the Turkish method, i.e., the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There is no more 'life sentences'. If convicted of murder, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for the victim you killed: gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

Now this is just dumb. The Criminal justice system would be backlogged for decades.

I do think we should restore the death penalty to cover more than just murder cases. Some sexual offenses should result in capital punishment. Robbery should as well.

(9). One export of ours will be allowed: wheat; because the world needs to eat. However, a bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil

This really isn't going to do much since you've already said you are going to ban imports. If we can't buy oil from foreign sources, what exactly is the price of oil going to be? Zero. So youll be giving our wheat away.

Ban exports and you will destroy American jobs. Not a good idea.

(10). All foreign aid, using American taxpayer money, will immediately cease and the saved money will help to pay off the national debt and, ultimately, lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask The American People if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision as to whether, or not, it's a worthy cause.

I'm in complete agreement with this. Especially with regards to nations that have extremely corrupt governments. Private charity is the way to go. Not this public funded "Aid" that ends up paying for absolutely nothing but a dictators hot tub.

(11). The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.

Don't have a problem with this as long as they are Public schools. Government shouldnt touch Private schools.

(12). The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

Who decides what's appropriate? Can we sing all the verses? Why can't the venues decide for themselves whether it's appropriate?
