Things are going from worse to worst.

Russia afraid of Trump?
Are you on crack.

Seems you’re the illegal substance user here. Or did you forget about Barry bending over...

Trump never gave in to Putin like Obozo did.

that flexibility was about missile defense, which nobody ever claimed obama was weak on missile defense.
All politicians are less flexible during a re-election campaign.

I appreciate the positive comments, but the negative ones are even more instructive. Apparently, the usual cast of imbeciles have been struck deaf, dumb and blind by current events to the extent that they are unable to communicate any coherent thoughts. Instead they have reverted to mumbling empty phrases from the last election cycle, vainly hoping for some relevance to the problems we presently face. It is a sad retreat from reality that they may never recover from.

Let's be clear: Nearly everything you see and hear from major media sources is political propaganda, because that is where money and power reside in our world. The level to which it has now descended hasn't been seen since the last world war, which suggests that we are headed towards another one.

The Russian incursion into the Ukraine resulted from a combination of corrupt political calculations and inept foreign relations. As we all know, Ukraine was a poor and corrupt member state of the Soviet Union before it collapsed after the Cold War. The United States capitalized on this opportunity by bribing and coercing that country into becoming a vassal state of its own.

This arrangement had several advantages: First, Ukraine became a rich source for extracting political and financial benefits. Second, dangling the prospect of NATO membership induced the Ukrainian government to keep quiet about its nefarious dealings with the U.S. Third, it created a valuable trump card for the U.S. in its dealings with Russia.

However, the election of President Trump threw a monkey wrench into this cozy situation. With the dealings with Ukraine being threatened with exposure, a campaign was quickly mounted to counter this threat by linking Trump to Russia in some sort of evil conspiracy. Instead, Russia was afraid of Trump and maintained a low profile during his Presidency.

However, the improbable election of Joe Biden and Democrat majorities in Congress caused Russia to reevaluate its opportunities, particularly in light of its unopposed occupation of Ukrainian in the Crimea during the last Democrat administration and the disastrous Afghanistan debacle under the new one.

As a result, Russia decided to establish a land bridge to Crimea, consolidate its control of eastern Ukraine and eliminate the threat of NATO membership all in one fell swoop. Ironically, Russia's biggest miscalculation to date may have been underestimating the lengths to which the U.S. administration is willing to go to preserve it domestic political power.

Instead of actually helping Ukraine defend itself against foreign incursion, the U.S. has done everything it can to portray Russian President Putin as a Hitleresque "madman" who is bent upon destroying Ukraine and murdering its inhabitants in his quest for world domination. (Actually, Stalin might be a more apt comparison.) The real purpose of the U.S. response is (1) to stir up negative public opinion towards Russia; (2) to blame Russia for inflation and other economic problems; and (3) create a "World War 3" scenario wherein the U.S. Government can assume emergency powers and control the financing and conduct of upcoming elections.

Or do you still cling to the belief that could never happen?

Great post. So I want to apologize for all the people who are too stupid to understand what you're saying, and went straight into the R vs D, Trump vs Biden debate. It's all they're programmed to do.

Another anti-American screed from one of our resident Putin Humping Trolls.

How are things in St. Petersburg these days????

Shitstain obama was never going to have Putin's respect. He would never be more than the shoeshine boy.

What an ignorant racist tool you are.

Why would you want the respect of a murdering thug like Putin??? You reveal yourself to be either a fool or a Russian by your slavering adoration of a piece of shit like Putin.

Thank you for showing us what an ignorant asshole you truly are.

What an enormous funt cace you are. Listen carefully you slavering, drooling, fool. As bad as Putin is, he is still better than the imbecile in our high office and certainly better than the shitstain colored shoe shine boy who promised to be more flexible. Did that mean he could present his ass by crossing his ankles behind his head?

Better Russian than democrat no matter how bad they are.

Sad but true

They actually did, with Mexico willing to hold the illegals. Saved us billions in welfare.

Only in the states that have welfare for illegals. There is no federal welfare for illegals. I lived in Texas. Texas has no state welfare for illegals.

Russian trolls are really fucked up

Nice attempt at playing the race card...fail though

I wouldn't vote for a republican if he/she was the only one running. BUT, people like EvilCat Breath helps me remember just how radical Trump supporters are and keeps me from voting for republican's too. I'm a conservative. Which means there's no way I could support Trump. Especially with so many Trump radicals running around.

It's simple: Biden's AG declares that swing states' election reforms are discriminatory violations of federal law and that they are being placed under DOJ supervision to ensure fair. SCOTUS appeals may be too little or too late, and Biden might decide to ignore its rulings anyway (if he hasn't packed the Court before then). Don't underestimate him.
I had to use a sad face for this insightful post Jwoodie. I propose, however, that the administrators consider adding an “angry face” emote. There are many times when a sad emote doesn’t cut it and the other choices don’t either. An angry emote would better relay my sentiment about Biden’s avenues of potential election corruption.
