It's my opinion Putin does not HAVE to offer anything, since he is in the right, and the 2014 Maidan coupe was done by a minority ethnic Polish, generals.

Clearly the Ukraine has always been part of Russian, and the ethnic Polish are descendants of evil Polish invaders from around 1600, who were defeated, but allowed to stay.

The problem is that once Kyiv tried to join NATO, that meant they wanted to threaten Moscow with US nukes.

So now the generals in Kyiv have to go, regardless of what could have been negotiated if Kyiv has NOT tried to join NATO.

Returning the Ukraine to Russia is not "dismantling" anything, but a restoration of the way the Kyiv in the Ukraine had always been the capital of Russia until the Mongol invasion forced it to move to Moscow.

There is no country with any history, called the Ukaine.
It was Russia, then around 1600 the Old Polish Empire tried to invade and was defeated around 1700. But the ethnic Polish are only a majority in the far west, around Kyiv, and they can't ever be allowed to rule because they are so racist against all the Asians in the east.

Since Russia used to have some of its nuclear weapons in the Ukraine, the Ukraine has to be inside of Russia's defense grid.
That means that if first strike nukes were launched from the Ukraine, Russia could not detect them until they went off.
That could destroy Russia's retaliatory capability.
So then Russia can never allow the government of the Ukraine to not be friendly with Russia.
Putin has absolutely no choice now that Zelensky has declared he is a traitor to Russia.
Now Putin has to remove the leadership in Kyiv entirely.
It is not Putin's fault.
And the Baltics and Poland are not at all similar, in that they are outside Russia's defense grid.
