George Orwell in his 1984 described "doublethink" as ability to change one's mind between two mutually contradictory statements by using some mental tricks and self-control. Victor Pelevin described "non-binary think" as a skill to ignore even most obvious contradictions at all.

So, there are some guys who more or less simultaneously believe (or just say so) in two contradictory statements:
1) Iranian society is so divided, weak and undetermined, that it will collapse even because of extended blockade and some economic problems.
2) Iranian society is so united, determined and unselfish (some use term "freaking lunatics"), that they won't afraid even massive retaliation nuclear strike and will definitely and immediately attack the USA as soon as they acquire this possibility.

So, here is the question: How do you manage to keep two those statements in your heads? Are you turning between them using some mental or intellectual tricks or you just don't see the contradition?
