According to the doctors that gave me the Moderna vaccine, they told me that even after I got the 2nd shot, I should wear a mask for at least 2 weeks afterwards, as it takes 2 weeks after the 2nd shot for immunity to be fully realized.

OK so after the two weeks will you still wear it?

Actually, even though I've passed the 2 week mark (sitting at around 3 weeks past that right now), I still wear a mask. However, I am planning a trip mid summer to go visit a friend. And yes, on the airplane, I will wear a mask, as that is what they ask for.

So when would you feel comfortable not wearing one?

When the infection rate is down to what I consider acceptable limits. Here in the TX panhandle, the virus rate is getting below 50 cases per day. When it hits 50 cases (or less) per week, then I would feel comfortable not wearing a mask. I'm looking forward to that day, as I want to be able to display my handlebar mustache again.
