Zone1 The Ten Commandments don't apply to us.

I said that Blacks and Puerto Ricans have the least amount of Neanderthal DNA.

A nice factoid for all you white supremacists out there.

I was responding to The Irish Ram who made the ridiculous claim that 8 people in the middle east were the only one with pure human DNA. I wasn't even calling her a white supremacist and never said that you were a white supremacist. It is revealing that you took it personally.

Very.

See how that works?
Not at all. You make assumptions based on your feelings. Not wise.

Oh please. Sad? :auiqs.jpg:

There was nothing immediate about reaching the limit of my patience pointing out the obvious. No one can help someone who is not honest humble or willing to help themselves.

The story of Noah + the Burckle crater + over 300 myths on every continent about a worldwide deluge = a meteor or asteroid impact on the Indian ocean, whatever the date.
You have your opinions. Fine. We all do. But they are only opinions, as is your conclusion about a universal flood.

OK, until further notice my conclusion is the most plausible unless you believe that angels were farting and pissing on the earth while drinking and bowling in the sky is more likely.

If you keep the law, you are free from it.
The Law exposes sin. It does not rid you of sin. If the law frees you, why the need to slit the neck of an innocent lamb to cover your sin?
The Law is death. Christ is life.

Romans 3:20: “Therefore no one will be justified in His sight by works of the law, for the law merely brings awareness of sin.”

Galatians 3:10: “All who rely on works of the law are under a curse.”

Hebrews 7:18-19: “A former commandment is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect)

Romans 10:4: “Christ is the end of the law, in order to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.”

The law is set aside because:
it is weak and useless
weak and useless
weak and useless

Christ is the end of the law
Christ is the end of the law
Christ is the end of the law

It simply doesn't get any clearer...

Oh, my, it is amazing how you create problems yet seem surprised by them.

They apply. Trump and his supporters, just do not know it. But, for that matter, there actually are a lot of people that act like they do not know it, MAGA is not alone in this fallacy. Support for the Ten Commandments as laws for living is obviously limiting, and their new god routinely ignores, and seems to be successfully doing as he please, so they do as they please, also and support him doing as he please.
Interesting thing about the 10 Commandments. It was the foundation for the Constitution. Why? It is purported to be written by the hand of God, and thus not could not be overruled by whatever kings or powerbrokers.

OK, how is that important? The Constitution is very difficult to alter because of this and is so because of the idea of the Commandments. It may be abstract to many, but it is none-the-less very true. It is, in fact, the foundation of law and has been for millennia.

What problems are you talking about? Pointing out how reprehensible it is to even pretend to believe that Jesus, an innocent Jewish man, was executed for your dumb ass sins?

I am sure that Jesus is very impressed by your love for him.

I am.

They must let anybody be in charge where you are.

If you worship the moral Jesus, you will be fine. Just slow down.

God can be a trickster.

He promised men that the world would be full of quiet, obedient wives, then he made the world round.

Take it slow, think about what you are writing here.

What's so reprehensible about it? Is it less reprehensible to pretend Jesus didn't sacrifice himself as the suffering servant foretold in Isaiah 53? Why is it better to believe Jesus was executed for sorcery and apostasy?

God can be a trickster.
I believe that belief in a moralistic and providential creator ultimately comes down to how people view the world. Those that only see the bad in life can't accept that a moralistic and providential creator exists. Those that see the full picture can.
