The Supreme Court considers Trump's Tariffs

Those job cuts had nothing to do with tariffs, duh...

Wrong then, wrong now. Why is that so hard to understand?
If you mean the tariff situation then, again, what difference does Trump's behavior make? If you mean Trump's behavior was wrong then and is wrong now then what does that have to do with the tariff issue since you already admitted Obama, Biden and everybody else were all guilty of perpetuating the problem?

I don't know if you have grasped this yet but I'm neither defending Trump nor am I saying his efforts will work. What I'm trying to illustrate here is that maybe your contempt for Trump has made you and many others less than fair and objective when addressing these sorts of issues.

You admit Trump inherited the problem yet you reserve special criticism for his actions (and behavior) but do not convey the same level of criticism for past administrations' inaction.

Trump can claim impotence concerning rising unemployment, but it's still his economy for which the public assigns him dismal numbers. Does he also have an excuse for being similarly ineffectual in dealing with his tariff-driven inflation?

In fall 2025, Bank of America reported "overwhelming evidence" showed tariffs imposed by Trump raised consumer prices.

I have contempt for Trump, Biden, Obama, Bush and a long list of others.

He doesn't know. He doesn't understand tariffs. He doesn't understand the presidency. He doesn't understand macroeconomics. He doesn't understand the Constitution.

He told that reporter in the Oval Office that DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE is about "unity, love and respect". He has no clue what it's about. The President of the United States doesn't understand what the Declaration of Independence is about.

He doesn't know. He's just a mindless predator, like a snake. Gimmee.

Look at what the people who worked with him in the White House in his first season have said. They had to simplify EVERYTHING, like they were talking to an eight year old.
Dude is a billionaire businessman and elected President of the United States, twice. As opposed to the musing of a random, partisan, blowhard, propagandist for a cult on the internet. Hmmmm, who's judgment to value?

After Biden's 9.1% inflation you are whining about Trump's lowering inflation rate???

Inflation is coming down

SCOTUS is going to rule Trump way overstepping on Tarrifs

Could be 9-0

Since we're in -- as ******* usual -- uncharted territory, I sure don't know what it would look like if the SC surprises me and rules against Trump. That could theoretically start a chain reaction through supply chains, and just imagine how pleased our former friends will be that all this horseshit didn't have to happen in the first place, as if THEY DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW THAT.

Even if they reject the IEEPA authority, there are still several other sections that could be argued as giving the president authority over tariffs. There is more than one bite at the tariff apple.

If that's truly the case then I don't understand what the problem is here with Trump in particular.

It's Trump here in particular doing the actions. I should condemn Obama over Trump's actions?

When you can't win by the rules, you make up new rules. And everything is an Emergency!!

Many of them lost their own livelihoods in the process too. He leaves a debris field everywhere he goes.

He basically turns people into felons just by entering their orbits. They crime just to impress him.

There is no better example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect than a street Trumpster lecturing others on economics and markets.
Yes there is. Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and democrats in general rendering opinions about anything.

Yes, some has been passed on to consumers, but more has been absorbed by importers, US based companies and FOREIGN exporters and manufacturers. I thought you guys liked the idea of taxing business? Why would you be opposed to foreign manufacturers cutting their prices to accommodate for tariffs?
