Bingo! It has not a damn thing to do with her race or gender.Maybe Biden shouldn't have nominated a light on pedohiles nominee no I don't really think Jackson is that bad but since you on the left have no problems making partisan bullshit claims about those you disagree with I feel fine giving back what you dish out. Kavanaugh has never been convicted of rape charged with rape there was no evidence ever presented to support the claim of rape no credible witnesses were presented to back up the accuser so screw you and good night.
Turns out, Judge Jackson is a lying sack of shit.“Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn's final opening remarks Monday revealed the scope of what Jackson's up against. Blackburn's inaccurate and blatantly racist attempts to patronize Jackson while twisting her sterling record into a scare narrative of GOP bogeymen -- critical race theory, the 1619 Project and controversies over transgender athletes and women's sports -- were staggering yet unsurprising.”
The racist, sexist mudslinging at Ketanji Brown Jackson is disgraceful | CNN
Despite disgraceful efforts by Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee to discredit, humiliate and smear Ketanji Brown Jackson with racist and sexist questions and comments, it is well worth remembering why her story matters to so many people, argues historian Peniel E. Joseph.edition.cnn.com
Unsurprising, indeed.
Lawyer double speak crap feigning ignorance like that and we need better than that in our highest court.Turns out, Judge Jackson is a lying sack of shit.
Her face and gender does NOT excuse her stupidity.

Perhaps so but the reality is she is going to be confirmed and her confirmation doesn’t change the makeup of the court. Since the 60 vote threshold for confirming both lower court and Supreme Court justices was eliminated for the simple majority vote there is little to no chance a nominee won’t get confirmed. However, Jackson's record shows she is soft on crime......with a perp she sentenced, with an easy 10 year mandatory, she let him walk after 3 months...How did that work out?
Maybe you’d say she’s identifying as a Supreme Court justice at this point.Republican... are you a woman?
Democrat... dammit Jim, I'm a Supreme Court Justice, not a biologist.
- That bitch has no business becoming a member of the SCOTUS.
(Wrong. Poster Kelsoe, read the ABA's testimony. The Judge's record is just fine.)"Not once has anyone tried to used her record to support her ability to uphold the Constitution."
(Umm, poster Rodishi are you asserting that calling the Judge a "bitch"....and approving of that term by your avatar has nothing to do with her gender? It has not a damn thing to do with her race or gender.
(And another poster, scruffy, simply doubles down on his inappropriateness and lack of judgement.)"Judge Jackson is a lying sack of shit."
"How dare you challenge a stupid black woman.."
She has a soft spot for child molesters. That bitch has no business becoming a member of the SCOTUS.
Yes, that's obvious. Every pedophile was given the minimum or less than recommended minimum. She's evil and stupid. She has a soft spot for child molesters.
Which as far as I'm concerned means she deserves to die.She has a soft spot for child molesters.
Several of her rulings we're overturned because they violated the Constitution.A female Federal judge was nominated by the President-du-jour for an Associate Justice position on the Supreme Court.....as has happened several times in the past.
The woman has a notable resume' ---Harvard undergrad, Harvard Law, clerked for a SCOTUS Assoc. Justice, served as a private practice lawyer, served as a Federally appointed defense lawyer, served as Federal judge at the trial level and the appellate level. Approved by the Senate overwhelmingly in the trial court appointment, and by a 53 to 46 vote in the appellate appointment. Has written near 600 decisions with just 12 reversals.
And, notably the American Bar Association testified that in their investigation of her rulings and their interviews with lawyers before her court, and with other judges....they found overwhelming support and admiration.
Here's what Fox News reported: (March 24th) (emphasis by my avatar)
"Members of the American Bar Association (ABA) panel that investigated Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's legal record rejected GOP claims that President Biden's Supreme Court nominee has been soft on child pornography offenders.
Members of ABA's Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary testified before the Senate Thursday that their confidential interviews with lawyers who have interacted with Jackson, as well as their review of her cases, revealed that Jackson was an unbiased, brilliant jurist with an "impeccable" record.
Also in the Fox News report :
"The assertion was made over and over and over again that Judge Jackson was soft on crime when it came to prosecution versus defense. … Did you find any evidence from all the people that you interviewed of that assertion?" Durbin asked.
"None whatsoever," said Ann Claire Williams, the chair of the ABA committee and former federal appellate judge.
D. Jean Veta, another member of the ABA panel, said their interviews with defense counsel and prosecutors revealed how "unbiased Judge Jackson is. We heard phrases like ‘doing things by the books."

Which then makes a post by the good poster 'HereWeGoAgain' somewhat perplexing for inclusion on a thoughtful political discussion forum where the usual expectations for decorum and civility apply.
Poster HereWeGoAgain calls this daughter of career teachers, a wife, mother of two daughters and a long practicing Federal judge ........ a "bitch".
And notably we have a coterie of peers who give a Thumbs-Up of the "bitch" epithet for this impressive wife and working mother.
(See post #2 of this thread with the approvals for 'bitch' by these contributors:

- Scruffy
- Hossfly,
- Rodishi,
- Stashman,
- Westwall.
And disappointingly it doesn't stop at calling this Judge a 'bitch'.
We see further lack of awareness or civility.
To wit:

Even it were a male judge who gave a light sentence with such a lame excuse as was used to excuse any pedophile they'd could very well be called a "bitch" too; so, even as a female and a childhood victim from well over fifty years ago I have no issues with someone calling such as it is be they a female or male judge.A female Federal judge was nominated by the President-du-jour for an Associate Justice position on the Supreme Court.....as has happened several times in the past.

Unsurprising, indeed.
But she’s black and female and that’s all that matters.Several of her rulings we're overturned because they violated the Constitution.
She refused to admit that the right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right.
She believes in a living constitution.
She's totally unqualified.
