What started me off on this thread was " In a letter dated May 1, 2019, Pope Francis invited young economists and entrepreneurs to an event called "The Economy of Francesco" in Assisi, aiming to foster a different kind of economy that prioritizes life, inclusion, and care for the environment."Yeah, maybe, I was really speaking to religion itself as an adjunct to the thread as someone who actually went to school for god.
That would be bad. And really the fault of the churches themselves for not remaining true to their faith, and perhaps trying to take shortcuts hoping to maintain broader appeal to more people.
Sage advice in any age.
No wonder the churches are failing. The answer is what Trump is doing, bringing the flag, pledge of allegiance, defense of religion and other things back to schools.
The current Pope is fully communist in his beliefs. In the 'letter' he call for all to give up worldly possessions, and "embrace poverty," with government forcing 'equality."
I've been to the Vatican several times, and there is no poverty to be seen there.
