What started me off on this thread was " In a letter dated May 1, 2019, Pope Francis invited young economists and entrepreneurs to an event called "The Economy of Francesco" in Assisi, aiming to foster a different kind of economy that prioritizes life, inclusion, and care for the environment."

The current Pope is fully communist in his beliefs. In the 'letter' he call for all to give up worldly possessions, and "embrace poverty," with government forcing 'equality."

I've been to the Vatican several times, and there is no poverty to be seen there.

Well, I'm not a Catholic, but I must say that in my storied lifetime (I remember JFK being killed), the current pope is like no other that I have ever seen, political, leftwing, and way out of line exceeding his position. IMO, he is tearing the church apart. Many of his positions lie in stark conflict with traditional christian modalities.
