What the debate accomplished was helping Biden, along with demonstrating how Wallace was the worst debate moderator in history.
If the debate had even been close, the Trump cultists would be making endless threads about Trump's glorious victory, the one they had spent months predicting. Instead, they're now making threads about how the debate didn't matter. That indicates they understand how poorly Trump did.

We found out in the last five years or so who the shills are in this nation. Trump has a way of getting them to show their true colors. All of them that promoted the same thing as Trump at one time or another that are against Trump is quite the head scratcher.The debate, as the OP pointed out accomplished nothing, not a single vote was changed as a result. In that way, there was no clear winner, there WAS a loser though, Chris Wallace. Wallace as hall monitor was entertaining. Neither Trump nor Biden had the slightest respect for him.
A couple of observations on Adderall Joe, the shaking hands pretty well confirmed his use of speed to stay focused. And his pauses to listen to the answers fed to him by his team made it clear that he had an ear bud
Trump stomping on Biden's answers, especially early in the debate, didn't win him any points.
If there were any serious mistakes, it was Biden losing his temper and calling the president a clown. We all expected a brawl, but this showed that Beijing Biden was unnerved and lost control.

It's 90% talk of some mythical Utopia and history's longest running promise of government perfection (false hopes)

And almost no one takes it seriously. In reality, the old green deal has been going on since 1901. Teddy R started it but he didn't stay long enough as President to finish it. Eisenhower took up the mantle. Then Nixon took it up again. You will note, all 3 were Republicans. And each time, Industry kept screaming, "You are killing us" when in reality, Industry was killing US.
The New Green Deal is a wonderful thing to work towards that we may never reach in the next 100 to 200 years. But parts of it is actually part of the old Green Deal. And Biden pushes for the Green Deal, not the New Green Deal. So do I and so does the majority of Americans. If Rump is trying to get reelected on that platform, he'd better have his bags packed and the Uhaul in the driveway.
