First of all, defeating someone does not give you right to their land.
That was established by international law in 1906, Geneva Conventions.
Second is that if we did allow victory in war to determine ownership, then the Hebrew lost continually, to the Babylonians, the Assyrians, the Romans, and even the Crusaders.
The Jews are the losers of history, except in 1948, with US weapons and by blowing up the British high command in the King David Hotel bombing.

There was no US aid in 1948-the contrary, the US did not materially aid Israel until after the Six Day War. Before that, most of their equipment was from France and Britain. Their US-made equipment was often WW2 surplus (they used upgraded Shermans and M2 halftracks into the 1970s), and gotten secondhand from Europe (the first ones were brought from a scrapyard in Italy as "tractors", many more were bought from France).
