Texas Governor Abbott sends "tanks" to the border to stop flow of illegals

That never works. Somehow, legalization makes more powerful and more deadly cartels. With each incremental step at legalization, the cartels extend their reach and more Americans die.
Is that right? Got anything to back that up?

Pot legalization has put billions into cartel hands. The dealers set up shop right outside of legal dispensaries.

It is a total shame the way we cannot see, or at least so many cannot understand the damage drugs do. Whether legal or illegal. Legal does not mean damage free. See San Francisco. We have failed cities, moving to failed states ending with an animalistic failed nation.

Someday a fed up population will rebel and say no more. No more support. No more food, medical care or protected drug sites. The sooner the better. On that day, the cartels will roll heads across the white house lawn.

Apparently, you've never been to a state where it's legal. Go to CO sometime.............because if you do, you will see how regulated it is, as well as the fact that there are zero dealers set up outside of the legal dispensaries. But, if you're looking for someone to deliver some cannabis to you that isn't taxed like the dispensaries, and is grown and distributed outside of the law, you'd have to go to Craigs List or some other such website. They don't hang outside of the dispensaries, they wait for people to call and deliver to them. And, those local dealers aren't answering to the cartels, they are in business for themselves.

Not only that, but in states where it's been legalized, they have MUCH more tax revenue for the state, as well as less of a problem with the crime associated with buying on the street. Most people prefer to go to a legal dispensary as they know what they are getting (strain, type of cannabis), and don't have to fear any interaction with the police.

Yes. Uh huh, sure.

Yeah Colorado you said, sure, uh huh.

Whats the purpose of the armored transports in this instance?

Simple. Pandering to the people who are scared of all the illegals coming into this country. Sending a couple of military vehicles (that won't accomplish anything since there are so few of them and they can't really do any enforcement) will make the base feel better because there are military vehicles being sent, and the fearful base will think something is being done about the problem (when in reality, it's just a small show to appease the base).

Those are "hard" drugs. Legalization of marijuana has been a fairly good success. And, to tell you the truth, I'm not in favor of legalization of stuff like cocaine, heroin, meth and all the other ones. But marijuana? That should be legal, as it's much less harmful than alcohol. And, to compare cannabis to other drugs is misleading at best, dishonest at worst.

Every pothead addict will find the legalization of marijuana a success. It is. For them.

You apparently don't know much about marijuana, or it's effects, as it is reflected every time you talk about drugs as a whole, and try to say that marijuana is equivalent to heroin. Hint: It's not.

Wouldn't you rather have an APC to hide in or behind when the cartels are shooting at you?

Considering that there are only 10 APC's, and only 50 personnel to man them, as well as the fact that the Texas border with Mexico is over 1250 miles long, I'd be willing to bet that the cartels will find another place where the APCs aren't to send their stuff. They've got a lot of territory to choose from. Face it, Abbot's sending them is an empty gesture at best and a waste of taxpayer money.

Why are you such a fool? The cartels only use certain crossing points in the river because the water is too deep in many areas. Station the APCs at those points because that is where the cartels are trying to shoot CBP, National Guardsmen and Texas DPS officers.
