Musically John was my least favorite Beatle, and he also had the most caustic and agitating personality of the four..... Or maybe to put it bluntly, he had a greater capacity to be a dick on a personal level. But I still have a deep respect for him in a philosophical sense. He was really very intelligent and called The Establishment out on a tremendous amount of its bullshit. I even sometimes think that's why he was murdered, and that Chapman was another MKUltra manufactured assassin like Sirhan, Hinckley and Oswald. Like the other famous victims, John had a bit of a vendetta against the Deep State establishment and spoke out against it, and gaining a huge following in the process. The Establishment does NOT like that. John's words had a power of truth that was very penetrating.

I recall this about them early on. When I was in Germany, I never heard of the Beatles and at the time they were coming to the USA the first time. I got to NY City and billboards announced, "The Beatles are coming." Frankly when I heard their music, it was so similar to many of the bands playing in Europe I gave it little thought. To me it was just a band. Seems Americans loved them a lot yet the lovers were young people mostly.
