Don can't dodge this one as he did with Project 2025.

I see what you did there. Brownshirts having a Nazi connotation. Try not to be so obvious next time.
In fact, what trump is suggesting he'll do if given another term, and what he wanted to do in his first one but was prevented from doing so by Milley and Esper, is illegal.
Really? What code section prevents the president from calling up the national guard?

So when dembots said trump should of had the guard on Jan 6, you are advocating he violate the law?

So when dembots said trump should of had the guard on Jan 6, you are advocating he violate the law?
You're going to have to stop making up lies or this conversation is over.

Because D.C. is a federal enclave, not a state, it has no governor, and its National Guard always reports to the Pentagon. The secretary of defense, Mark Esper, sent National Guard forces to support the Park Police and other civilian agencies protecting federal buildings — and, to particular controversy, National Guard helicopters swooped frighteningly low over crowds of people.

But civilians remained in control of the response in the nation’s capital. Mr. Trump wanted to instead put the military directly in charge of suppressing violent protesters — and to use regular, active-duty troops to do it. Members of his legal team drew up an order invoking the Insurrection Act in case it became necessary, according to a person with direct knowledge of what took place. But senior aides opposed such a move, and he never signed it.

How MAGA Is Already Justifying The Use Of Military Force At Home If Trump Wins

Many MAGA influencers have an apocalyptic story to tell about the country, the political divide, and where we’re all headed, and they’re already using it to lay the groundwork for crossing what has long been a red line: deploying the military for domestic law enforcement purposes.

In this MAGA fever dream, everyone has their part to play. They believe that they’ll be caught up in it; you might be, too. It goes something like this: If Donald Trump wins in November, people will protest. Riots will break out. The left, they theorize, will go all-out to stoke organized violence around the country, clearing the way for a newly inaugurated Trump administration to step in and make unprecedented, widespread use of the U.S. military to restore law and order.

This dark vision of the future draws on deeply pessimistic theorizing, on lectures about Marxist anti-government ideology seemingly ripped from the Cold War, on memories of the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020, and on claims that Democrats and the left will be unable to accept a Trump victory. It all comes against the backdrop of senior officials around Trump and Trump himself reportedly having been eager to invoke the Insurrection Act while he was in office, and mulling its actual use if he’s re-elected.

He will take whatever extralegal steps he needs to take in order to suppress protests against him.

Oh, the Donald has not dodged 2025.

Democrats set a precedent again. Can you say INSURRECTION. According to Piglosi, that is license to commit murder on unarmed protesters.

Nope. And many of the protestors were armed.

LEO has always had the right to put violent protestors down with the amount of violence necessary,

However, in case of a Trump presidency, US military and the DOJ would not use violence on MAGA opponents.

Deploying on U.S. Soil: How Trump Would Use Soldiers Against Riots, Crime and Migrants

During the turbulent summer of 2020, President Donald J. Trump raged at his military and legal advisers, calling them “losers” for objecting to his idea of using federal troops to suppress outbreaks of violence during the nationwide protests over the police murder of George Floyd.

It wasn’t the only time Mr. Trump was talked out of using the military for domestic law enforcement — a practice that would carry profound implications for civil liberties and for the traditional constraints on federal power. He repeatedly raised the idea of using troops to secure border states, and even proposed shooting both violent protesters and undocumented migrants in the legs, former aides have said.

In his first term in office, Mr. Trump never realized his expansive vision of using troops to enforce the law on U.S. soil. But as he has sought a return to power, he has made clear that he intends to use the military for a range of domestic law enforcement purposes, including patrolling the border, suppressing protests that he deems to have turned into riots and even fighting crime in big cities run by Democrats.

As it is with all articles written by Charlie Savage this one is meticulously researched and granularly detailed. It goes on to describe the ways the admin sought a legal justification for using federal troops by way of the Insurrection Act.

Mr. Trump has boasted that, if he returns to the White House, he will dispatch forces without any request for intervention by local authorities.

Organizations like the ACLU have already begun to prepare for that eventuality should he be re-elected.

When trump threatened the use of federal troops during the summer of 2020 Gen. Milley circulated a memo reminding military leaders their oath was one of allegiance to the Constitution, not trump.

Every member of the U.S. military swears an oath to support and defend the Constitution and the values embedded within it. This document is founded on the essential principle that all men and women are born free and equal, and should be treated with respect and dignity. It also gives Americans the right to freedom of speech and peaceful assembly. We in all branches, all components, and all ranks remain committed to our national values and principles embedded in the Constitution. 2. During this current crisis, the National Guard is operating under the authority of state governors to protect lives and property, preserve peace, and ensure public safety .

Defense Sec. Esper also objected to the use of troops. It provides another example of how Don's unconstitutional impulses were held in check. And a reminder that people like Milley and Esper will not be around during a second trump term to do so again.

Do you know that the national guard on active duty under title 10 for riot control and other law enforcement duties, are paid by the federal government and operate the same as regular forces. Also regular forces operating at our borders for national security reasons, like repelling an invasion, is a perfectly legitimate use of those resources. So carry on with the propaganda and gaslighting and we'll keep laughing at you.

.

The DOD and DOJ will not permit Trump to misuse American military and law enforcement resources against American citizens.

He hasn't said that. Now quit lying. Tell me again how he told me to drink bleach. You fucking liars don't have anything to say if you're held to the truth.
How did "bringing the light inside the body" work out for ya, Ace? :auiqs.jpg:

How did a hypothetical aside to the governments science officer become advice for anyone to follow, Ace, you're not real sharp are you?
It was your pal Trump who gave the aside to Birx who thought he was out of his mind. Which he was & still is.

Who in their right mind would make such an assinine suggestion especially in front of the cameras?

Thank you for admitting that he was talking to Birx--not you. He didn't tell you to do anything. As for what Birx thought--you haven't a clue of what Birx thought. You are projecting your own biased opinion on someone you have never met. Typical democrat lies. You're gonna be mad Nov. 6 bro.
