Instead of trying to renege on legal immigrants to meet a quota, (which is what Trump is currently doing), they should just have the Department of Labor harshly enforce workplace eligibility.

If you are caught employing undocumented immigrants, you get slapped with a big old fine.

But the Republicans don't really want to get rid of illegal immigrants. They just want them scared so the rich can exploit them.

It’s ironic that Republicans have ushered in a tax code where more and more people are below thresholds to pay income tax while simultaneous attacking them and looking down on them for it.

But then again, the right loves being dicks to poor people. It’s like their favorite pastime.

Wealth and income have risen faster for the wealthy than anyone else. And those budget cuts that are coming are going to hit the middle class way more than the wealthy.
