California has an economy equal to the 7th largest nation. Taiwan doesn't.Because Taiwan isn’t controlled by Democrats, duh.
Taiwan built high-speed rail, why can’t California?
Here is a pretty good reason. A High Speed Rail can only be built if it's put on a National Level. And then Nationally funded. That means that it has to be done at a Federal Level. It's expensive and intensive. ALL the successful high speed rails are Nationally supported and always will be. Or at least until they get the point of reach self sufficiency. Until the Feds pony up with a whole bunch of billions of bucks on a yearly basis, there just won't be a high speed rail.
And no, Kentucky shouldn't have to pay for a train that only benefits California.
Beat me to it! GMTA
