13.6% of all Americans are immigrants. Your economy would collapse without them.
Not only do they contribute more in GDP and taxes than they cost, their housing, food, clothing and transportation purchases create jobs for other Americans.
You have 11 million illegals in your country yet you have the most profitable companies in the world, one of the highest GDP's in the world, and one of the highest average salaries in the first world. And you have 9 million open jobs you can't fill.
The money they send home has tremendous buying power and helps the economies of their home countries, reducing the amount of foreign aid American taxpayers send to these countries.
Every immigrant influx starts in poverty. The Irish came in the Potato Famine. The Italians came to escape grinding poverty. People don't leave their home countries when they're doing well there. But all of these priior immigrants succeeded and these will too.
President Donald Trump’s characterization of immigrants, as people who are a drain public resources, is not backed by the data.
