I am absolutely denying it. Agricultural work is becoming mechanized at a remarkable rate. It's faster, cheaper and no risk of injury.
Do you understand what "under the table" means? So, 2% of the illegals in NY have applied for a work permit. How many illegals do you think they will support?
Be honest.
Not true machines exist for ALL those jobs. Even picking tomatoes. But it still exists.
"While machines have replaced human hands for a lot of farm jobs — the harvesting of tomatoes for processing, the cutting of lettuce and spinach, the shaking of almond trees to make the nuts fall to the ground — many fruit, vegetable and nut farmers still rely heavily on people to plant, maintain and harvest their crops."
"Machines don't yet exist for these crops because there have been ample people to do the work, and because it's hard to design machines that can cut or pick the fruit or vegetables without squishing or damaging them too much."
So, machinery might be made, but it might not be better to have machinery until we get to the point where machinery can be gentle. So they go with cheap workers.
It means pay no taxes.Do you understand what "under the table" means?
And?It means pay no taxes.

Lettuce
Tomatoes
Even sorting tomatoes is now done by robots.
Some robot harvesters are even now being replaced by drone harvesters.
Farms don't even need to own this machinery. They rent it. In a few days the job is done.
Think of how much money we would have without supporting the millions of invaders in 5 star hotels.Well, we'll see, but right now that's not the case. And we're still going to have to worry about pensions...
BREAKING: Stabbing attack in Dublin, Ireland leaves several children injured. Riots have broken out in the city as residents blame the incident on mass immigration. Police have not yet confirmed the identity or nationality of the knifeman.
utterly predictable... but do the authorities even have children
Feb 20, 2020 — Leo Varadkar, one of the highest-ranking openly gay elected officials in the world, has offered his resignation as Ireland's prime minister, ...
Why would anyone with children and family allow such al man in high office. What does he know about normalcy and fear by parents of perverts and strangers and deviants. Macron, Merkel, May ...NO KIDS and no sense about society because of that.
It’s a much better forum with him on ignore.Hey Unkotare, tell the class how illegals are going to pay for anything you feckless clod.

Bull shit, but that's your diet after all.The post you linked so said that machines do exist for all these jobs but many farmers don't use them because they're not "gentle". Tomatoes bruise quickly and easily.
The other thing is that these machines are VERY expensive. And hardly practical for smaller farmers. Drones need operators. You'd have to have a massive operation to justify the capital outlay. Two or three farmers could go together to buy one, but if their crops are ready to pick at the same time, it could be a problem.
One of my farmer friends told me they hate using fertilizers and pesticides not because they want to grow organic, but because they're expensive and their profit margins are so low. Spending tens of thousands of dollars on a tomato harvestor would be out of the question.

Why would anyone put them in five star hotels? Ask Eric Adam's since he's the one who did it. Not Trump.Well, why would anyone put them in five star hotels?
But a lot of rich people, cough Trump cough, have made a lot of money from illegals.
Many thanks to the GOP for giving us two world depressions in 12 years, W's Real estate corrupt bubble and Trump's worst ever pandemic reaction for conservative nut jobs all over the world...Nah, just a Left biased political culture that is trying to suicide the country. Let the "hooligans" run loose and break bad on the muzzy scum who did this.

Ya read that in a vermin written book.I didn't mention Trump in connection with 5 star hotels, HOWEVER Trump does like a bit of corruption, seeing how he was doing "pay to play" in the 1980s.... He got rich for playing the politicians, paying his bribes etc...
Ya read that in a vermin written book.
Oh New York Times.I read it in the New York Times... from the 1980s.
