The fledgling American experiment of the late 1700's invented the system of government by the people. The USA has the only built in freedoms written into its Constitution than any other civilized or uncivilized regime in the world. Americans should thank God for the Constitution every day that is the only thing that stands in the way of establishing a criminal regime in the U.S. If we chip away at freedoms or lose it in wholesale unconstitutional decisions by the Supreme Court we might end up no better than the rest of the world.
