The Shocking Reaction of the Soviet HORDES when they entered National - Socialists Germany in 1945
"An old Muscovite soldier who went all the way to Berlin told my grandfather once: "I entered a brick house. There was nobody inside. There were rugs on the floors and beds with soft pillows and covers. There were big windows and a radio. In the kitchen the table had a tablecloth and there was running water at the faucet. In the cupboard I found coffee and spices. There were also cans of food and other nice things. And then I got angry. I lived in house half underground with a straw roof, my kids were barefoot, and no matter how hard I worked I was still very poor. What did these people want from me? They burned my village and drove a tank through my poor home. They had luxury, and still came and destroyed my straw covered home. Why?"
What happened to disabled WWII vets in the USSR?
The USSR had organized special sanatoriums for people left disabled after the war. Conditions there were not as appalling as the rumors claimed....
