Who the hell puts PEAS with SOS?

You need HASH BROWNS.
SOS with peas is the traditional meal I know.
Never had peas with it anywhere I've ever had it.

Course in the military SOS wasn't chipped beef anyway, they made it with hamburger, same style gravy, and you could get it over toast or hash browns.
That military SOS doesn't sound too bad.
Can't count the number of times I wished I could have breakfast in a military chow hall again, it was the best. I tried to never miss breakfast on base, even when I was on separate rats. I mean, a huge breakfast was only like $1.25.

I got to eat at chow halls a few times when I stayed on military bases. I was amazed at how much you got to eat for under $2. The food was good too.
I didn’t have SOS but they had some good biscuits and gravy.

Us Army Sos Recipe

It was the same in the Air Force, and we'd get it over hash browns.

Yep, I think I'll make this tomorrow morning... :)
Try a dash of Worcestershire and a pinch of cayenne.
Gotta have the Worcestershire, but haven't tried the cayenne.

Might try that though, since I do like a dash of cayenne in stuff.
