Some of the reasons why Americans of all political backgrounds oppose funding and supporting Ukraine.

There are people who are opposed to funding Ukraine for a variety of reasons.

-Russians are not evil

-Let’s not throw stones in glass houses….America‘s invaded other countries. Where in the hell is the anti-war left on this. Those deranged hypocrites. Oh they think that the Ukrainians are the good guys. What a load of nonsense millions of Ukrainian supported the third reich in World War II. There are neo-Nazis in Ukraine to this day. For all that talk in America about opposing “white supremacy “ in the United States. Well There is no white supremacy in the United States ….there is white supremacy in Ukraine.

-Obama and Hillary Clinton shook hands with Vladimir Putin and were far closer to Vladimir Putin then Joe Biden is.

-We have no idea what’s going on in Ukraine which is a very corrupt country. Not many Americans knew anything about Ukraine prior to this war. Still there are Americans who are completely unaware that this war goes all the way back to 2014. Some Americans because of CNN and MSNBC and even Fox News and the neo conservatives…. believe that Ukraine was invaded last year out of nowhere , for the hell of it.

- Many Americans are saying we should not be giving all this money to Ukraine…. we should be giving it to the American people that are starving that are poor especially those in Palestine.

- Huge numbers of Americans reject the media trying to get at our heartstrings. Trying to get on us morally speaking. Which is really quite evil one might say. They keep showing us pictures of Ukrainian children Ukrainian grandmothers crying. Where were those pictures when the United States invaded Iraq? . Not just that what about all the other wars going on in the world. What about all the starving children in Africa. Are we gonna send $100 billion to the countries in Africa?

Edit- One more thing some percentage of eastern Ukraine supports Russia. So this is somewhat of a Civil War.
I do not want to send endless weapons / money to Ukraine, but we cannot afford to let Russia take over a sovereign nation, the effects of this are far greater than $200BB

There’s no evidence that Russia intends on re-creating the Soviet union any more than America wants to set up an empire in the Middle East which is what we’ve heard many times.

There’s only ever been one Adolf Hitler throughout history. Well that’s what George W. Bush has been called Hitler …Donald Trump has been called Hitler so many times if you can see that this is called politics then you can see it right. That’s why people are using that comparison.

If you remember during the Cold War there was all sorts of saber rattling.

I don’t understand why people keep on bringing up World War II. You omitted that the main country were supporting was the Soviet union. And the Soviet government trusted the Americans to send them weapons that were not faulty. They trusted us to work on their air fields.

Thankfully Roosevelt was friendly and was a supporter toward the Soviet union. He wanted to work with the Soviet union as far back as 1933. That only makes sense to have major powers of the world work together.

Here is the major flaw in this idea that Putin is a monster which is not. Vladimir Putin is light authoritarians same thing with Zelensky . there’s countries of the 21st-century that are actually horrendous to live in and that are brutal like the now gone Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant, we could even talk about Afghanistan under the Taliban and possibly even the Islamic Republic of Iran. None of them compare to Russia. Russia is comparable to Ukraine.

Right now according to the Russians I’ve spoken with the Russian economy is doing incredible and that’s actually what Colonel Douglas McGregor says. Douglas McGregor was one of the greatest take Aces in American history. He is deeply respected by the way in Israel. McGregor says Ukraine has already lost the war. He says that Russia has a right to Ukraine.

By the way Israel is allied with Russia. Back when Naftali Bennett was the Prime Minister of Israel he flew to Russia to shake hands with Vladimir Putin while the Russians were invading Ukraine. That’s for all of the pro Israeli Americans I only wonder what they think about Russia now?

You clearly have no answer.

Roosevelt was sick by the time that the Yalta Conference took place. Roosevelt sentenced eastern Europe to decades of slavery. Russia was on Germany's side until Hitler invaded Russia.

Yeah, our leaders really are pathetic.

Thank you brother. Colonel Douglas McGregor is one of the greatest tank aces in American history. He’s well respected by the American military establishment and by the way deeply admired in Israel. Oh yeah so where are all the big time pro Ukrainian American Jews now what are they gonna say now. Oh yeah

After Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy refused to do Trump a political "favor" by contriving a scandal to discredit his political opponent, Trump withheld vital military aid from Ukraine

Trump's petty, vindictive move had nothing to do with U.S. foreign policy or national security.
President Zelinskiy's refusal to smear Biden made Trump very pissy.

The integrity of the United States has now been restored and its status solidified by its leadership of a revitalized NATO in defense of democracy.

The odious revilement of NATO and praise for the "savvy genius" who savagely attacked Ukraine has been reversed.

America is
back!

Estonia, a Baltic republic, a key state along NATO's eastern flank bordering Russia, and one of the most vocal supporters of Ukraine, heads to the polls this weekend.
Prime Minister Kaja Kallas ... has garnered widespread support and international praise for her steadfast commitment to Ukraine, and criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision last year to invade the former Soviet republic...

Estonia's citizens are concerned about their own national security, given their proximity with Russia and their own history as a former Soviet republic.
Given the fears stemming from Russia's invasion of Ukraine, this is very much a wartime election for Estonia, and the country's political parties appear to be trying to outdo each other on defense spending...
Prime Minister Kallas' government is currently spending 3% of the country's gross domestic product on defense.. and has been encouraging other European states to do the same. Meanwhile, her government has given Ukraine the equivalent of 1% of its GDP in military assistance. That's more than any other country in terms of its population to GDP ratio...
Estonia is a key member of the eastern flank of NATO — essentially making it one of the West's front-line states facing an increasingly aggressive Russia.
"The location of these countries, the pro-American, pro-European economically successful, resourceful, democratic, human rights-loving nature of the eastern flank countries is something that Russia sees as a threat to it," says Kristine Berzina, of the German Marshall Fund for the U.S., referring to Estonia and other Baltic states. "But these countries are the most loyal and most reliable allies for the United States."

Except, our buffoons thinks its wise that we go fight with another superpower. And yes, this is our proxy war to the tune of a hundred billion and counting...... It would be a good thing if we weren't at war but we can't stop warring it up.
What's the alternative? Let Russian steamroller over Eastern Europe?
