I see two different events that CNBC is trying to conflate into one conspiracy. Trump complains about the WSJ for a misleading headline and Carr warns broadcasters once again about their obligation to act in the public interest. Both are truthful.

WSJ is not a broadcaster, so that wasn't what Carr was talking about. I defend the 1st Amendment right of the WSJ to print misleading headlines in order to get clicks. The broadcasters have been given a privilege, the free use of publicly funded airwaves and must meet their obligations that come with that freebie.
