So the FCC chair is threatening networks that broadcast unfavorable news

You said "Obama gave Iran $1.7 Billion."

He didn't give them anything.
It was their money.
The US was ordered to "Return" Irans money back to Iran.
Iran's annual budget is over $100 billion.

No, a one time payment of 1.5% of their annual budget was not the tipping point.

You make a good point, Iran would have continued to fund terrori with or without the cash Obama and Biden gave them, they just made it easier for them to

Nah, not with a one time payment of 1.5% of the annual budget. This talking point is for uninformed dummies.

So, naturally, MAGA repeats it hourly.

What an idiotic comment. Of course giving someone money they didn’t have is gonna make it easier for them

The FCC conducts investigations after reciecing complaints

As it has since 1934

The issue isn’t if it’s fair or accurate

The issue is if it’s distorted or not
The government has no business deciding what is distorted.

Google owns YouTube and is liberal, Bluesky is liberal, Snapchat is liberal, Facebook, Instagram, and Threads are neither, X is conservative, TikTok is conservative.

Seems split to me.

In a blistering letter, FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez is publicly condemning her own agency over what she describes as the Trump administration’s escalating attack on The Walt Disney Company and ABC.

Gomez warns: “What Disney and ABC are facing is not a series of coincidental regulatory actions but a sustained, coordinated campaign of censorship and control, carried out through the weaponization of the FCC's authority as a federal regulator and aimed at pressuring a free and independent press and all media into submission.”

In what she calls “the most egregious assault on the First Amendment this FCC has taken to date,” Gomez writes that the agency has ordered Disney’s eight ABC-owned stations to seek early license renewal — “a mechanism that has not been invoked in more than half a century.”

She urges Disney to fight back: “Disney has been here before. When the state of Florida came after the company with the full weight of its government, Disney fought back and won. The same resolve that carried that fight can carry you in this one. The First Amendment does not belong to this Administration to grant or withhold.”

This is an extraordinary warning from inside the FCC itself.

How long will Disney withstand the Trump onslaught before they fire Kimmel? All Trump will do is make him a martyr.

Poor Kimmel.

Maybe some of the Juggies have become bitter lesbians with purple hair, nose rings and BO, who would be willing to do anti-Trump podcasts with him between visits to the dispensary.

Hollywood already loves him, he'd have more celebrities and athletes wanting to be on his podcast than he has time for.

There is a market for Republican comediennes to spiel political vitriol who will get at least the same ratings and they are being denied. This is the dictatorial nation we live in.

Well good!

You just enjoy Alec Baldwin guesting on his show or noted climate scientist Dr. Leanardo DiCaprio. Maybe they'll have that Northern Euro girl with the bad haircut.

Podcasts are privately-owned, so more 1st Amendment to 'em!

Had nothing to do with my post. As usual, you just splurge out random stuff.
