Should Trump go to jail for mishandling classified information?

A Majority of Congressmen and Senators voted to impeach

They didn’t think it was BS
Of course, in reality, no Senators voted to impeach.

And who actually gives a shit what the Senators allegedly thought? Does that majority control your “thinking?”

I would be happy to see Trump testify under oath like Hillary did

My money says he plays the Mob Boss and takes the Fifth
LOL. LOL. LOL. Yeah, Hillary testified under oath, saying multiple times that she just couldn't remember.

Wrong. The declassification was his direction that they be declassified. And so they were. The procedures are ministerial only and the failure to perform them doesn’t negate the original fact of declassification.

I never said anything about ownership.

Wrong. The FACT of declassification simply hasn’t been properly channeled and the documents’ statuses updated. They’re still declassified.

Or, maybe blame the staff for not completing the ministerial shit. Either way, his say so is still absolutely all that’s required for the status change. They remain declassified.

It's patently obvious to even the most casual observer of your posts that you know nothing about classified material and how it works.

Court already ruled all it takes is the President saying it. so you dont know what you are talking about.

"Should Trump go to jail for mishandling classified information?"

**** that distraction bullshit.

In other, more important news......
Anyone else notice how Internet taxes and even taxes on purchases direct from China have been put in place since Democrats took over?
Democrats = TAXES! TAXES! AND MORE TAXES!!

The question is......

Should Democrats go to jail for constantly ******* over the American People every way and every chance they get?

No. It’s only clear that you assume that things are required to be done only one way even though such procedures don’t apply to the President.

You’re free to continue down that mistaken path. It really doesn’t matter to me what you believe. But I will continue to correct your erroneous contentions, all the same.

Yes, the president DOES have the power to declassify anything they want to, any time they want to.

HOWEVER.......................

The material in question that is being declassified has to be identified as to what it is, when it was declassified, and the reason it was declassified. And, a copy of the declassification must be sent to all agencies/commands via memo/message stating as such. If that hasn't happened, the information in question is still considered classified.

A contractor can tell you that they can build you a house, even draw up plans for it and break ground, but until that house is built, it's not a house, just an idea that hasn't been fully realized yet. Same with declassification. Yes, a sitting president can declassify anything they want, but until the paperwork and notifications have been sent to all the places where the material is also being held, it is still considered classified. Trump isn't the only person that had copies of the material in question, so yes, those other agencies need to be notified that it has been declassified. Otherwise, it's just something Trump said hoping to keep himself out of trouble.

From which University did you receive your Law Degree?
How long have you been working in this area of law?

How many times a day do you have to suck Democrat dick in order for your son not to lose his job?

I had a SECRET Clearance for 40 years
I have received numerous briefings on how the Classification system works and how to handle classified documents

Enough to know that Trumps claims to collectively declassify are full of shit as are those who repeat them

Trumps view of the Classification system only seem to relate to whether or not he has to follow those annoying classification rules.
Why not just issue a blanket order that anything he holds is automatically unclassified?
The security implications of such an order are mind boggling

In fact, the documents he holds are not classified. Specific information in those documents have different sections with different classifications. A single TOP SECRET sentence makes the whole document TOP SECRET

If Trump chooses to exploit his power and declassify his document, then EVERY document containing that information is now declassified.

It is a complex process not to be taken lightly

For some strange reason, Trump supporters only got as far as the statement that the president can declassify anything they want to, and yes, that part is true, a sitting president CAN declassify anything they wish.

But, for some strange reason, Trump supporters seem to think that Trump is the only person to hold that information, and they don't realize that not only he, but a whole bunch of other agencies and military commands hold some of that same information and will consider it to be classified until they get the notification stating exactly what the material was, the date (and sometimes time, depending on the material) it was declassified, and the reason for the declassification. Until that notification is received, it will still be considered classified at whatever level it holds. They, like Trump, don't believe that any follow through is required.

Not only would a blanket rule be mind boggling for the classification system and open this country up to all sorts of problems, but it would also negate the requirement for a president to have a SCIF in their house or traveling with them, as it would all be unclassified.

But, such is the nature of Trump and his followers, they cherry pick what they want to be true, and leave the rest off as useless information, even though it is a very integral part of the system. They only pay attention to the fact that the president can declassify things, and leave off the rest of the process as being unnecessary.

So you’ve never moved. Not even from your moms house?

Well, if you ever do move you end up hauling some shit that should have just went in the trash.people helping you pack and the guys loading the truck don’t know, they just put it all in. Then you arrive and start unpacking and find all kinds of shit you didn’t intend to take. We hauled the kitchen ******* trash, in the trash can, from Az to Mo. Why? Because some packer just threw it on the truck.

Shit happens. Holy ****.
Clean freak germaphobe Trump brought empty folders to Florida. Riiiiiiight.

I have a feeling that Trump taking the top secret documents was his "insurance policy". That if they threaten to indict him for any of his numerous crimes, he would blackmail the country by telling them to drop the charges, or he would release all the top secret information.
No doubt about it.

Should Trump go to jail for mishandling classified information?

A baseless & imbecile “question” from a libtard troll.
He should swing from the end of a rope for this & his coup attempt. Anyone else would be locked up under a $5 million bond.

To put it in terms you will understand:

A white 17 yo and a black 17 yo are stopped for speeding. Both kids are found with a small amount of pot in the car. The white kid gets off with community service. The black kid gets a year in prison.

You are the cops, the judge, and the entire judicial system with the black kid. But the black kid is Trump. Yes, the black kid broke the law. But the law is not evenly applied. Therefore it is unjust.

If you cannot see this there is nothing else to do, as I have said. The nation is over.
Trump is only a victim of his own behavior. To put it in terms YOU will understand: consider a child who has never been told "no" and never had face consequences for his own behavior.
