I like it, but don't spend too much time on there. I prefer the freedom of USMB to speak my mind anonymously. I try to keep my facebook G-rated, which is really fucking hard for a hard-assed bitch with a serious potty mouth.

All of the above depends on you. If old bf's wanna reconnect, you can ignore them. If you care about whose friends list is bigger/smaller then that's just too bad. It will take over a pretty big part of your life if you let it Just go for it and see. I like it because it allows me to keep in touch with a lot of folks that otherwise I'd lose contact with...

Or maybe you're just too nice. My ex wanted to become friends with me on facebook and I simply wrote him an e-mail that it simply won't work for me and he understood and we left it at that... no feelings hurt. Heck, even if he had hurt feelings, that's his problem

I would say ... don't bother.

Really it's up to you, you should join if you want regardless of what people say. I personally think it's garbage, but meh, that's my opinion. I prefer Youtube and my own website.
