Should Glass-Steagall be passed again?

The repeal of glass-steagall may have caused the recession of 07-08 -- Should we separate commercial and investment banks?

Emotionally I say Yes. But the solution if probably more complicated. I'm not sure how that would have made a difference with AIG. I would like to break up the banks, tired of bailing them out. Or turn them into large financial utilities like in Canada.

actually very few believe that it had anything to do with crash. THe way to prevent a crash is to switch to capitalism.
