Send Fighter Jets To The Ukraine.

Idiot.

You're the idiot. Because it never happened.

Ukrainian pilots were trained on Soviet / Russian aircraft. They would need a high degree of training before they could fly American made aircraft. Of course unless some people want American pilots to fly them.

How often do I have to say this before it sinks in through your thick skull. If the Ukrainians couldn't use them, they wouldn't be asking for them.

They aren’t trained to fly them you idiot.
Pentagon says it would take about 6 months for Ukrainian pilots to get up to speed on the F-16.

There are 30 Ukr pilots in France training on Mirage 2000 right now. They are about 2 months in.

Every single Western system they have tackled, they have picked up faster than expected. They are fast learners.

Don't you think that the Ukrainians would be the best judge of what they can or can't do? If they want the jets, that must mean that they have pilots to fly them.

I think 6 months is stretching it. All fighter jets are basically the same. If you can fly one, you can fly another. How many G-forces you want to put your body through is up to you. They all have displays that show threats. They all tell you what altitude you are flying at and if your plane is flying level or not. They even have something that tells you how much fuel you have. For somebody who already knows how to fly a fighter jet, it isn't a very steep learning curve to get familiar with the controls and instrumentation of an F-16.

Here is a more realistic take for you. This doesn't even touch on the differences in avionics and the hugely different pilot workloads.

It's easy to learn how to take off and land- it takes a lot of time to learn how to use the jet properly.

They are not trained to fly American made aircraft you idiot. They are trained on former Soviet made fighters. It would take them a year to get up to speed on US made fighters.

Freaking idiots.

Dupe. Sucker. Slave.

You should slowly understand that it is impossible to offend me ... perhaps until it will really happen - then you are lost. But you and your whatnots empire are anyway lost - whether you will win or lose whatever kind of war.

No. When the Ukrainians say that they need F-16s, it means that they also want ordnance, fuel, pilots, technicians, all kinds of support, etc...

It means they want training for such people, however, lately some US F 16 pilots have said they would volunteer to fight for Ukraine if they had F 16's.

All fighter jets basically fly the same way. All any Ukrainian fighter pilots would have to do is become familiar with the instrumentation.

The cockpit layout is probably different. They only need to become familiar with it. That isn't hard to do. It could take them up to minutes to do so.

Well of course they are going to need ordnance and fuel. As for technicians, that is a possibility. But even that is no big deal. They can print up manuals with pictures that can show them how to fix anything on the jets. I know that it is a tiny bit more complicated than this, but it is like asking somebody who knows everything about fixing a Cadillac to fix a Mustang. It isn't that hard to figure out.

Never hear of that one. But it wouldn't surprise me. And no doubt there are many who would be willing to just teach Ukrainian pilots how to fly them well. Which I don't think would be too difficult to do. But according to many of the idiots around here, the Ukrainian pilots are just too stupid.
