The Deficit Explained And Fiscal Conservatism Debunked (In Two Graphs)
Note that the last five times we’ve had budget surpluses (four of them were Clinton budgets), revenue was near 20% of GDP. So that is a good guideline for the minimum size of govt Americans actually want in the modern age. But the Clinton surpluses were squandered in the Bush years when revenue dropped to below 15% of GDP and spending soared to 25%.
Indeed!!
Don't waste your cyber breath on these Fox News watching neocons. Did you know that several polls have shown that folks who watch Fox News are less informed and up to date on the news that people who don't watch any kind of news reports at all?? It's been studied and they are such right wingers that nothing they hear anywhere else actually impacts them. In other words they are and will always be uneducated about the news.
You can prove these people watch Fox News ?
You are good.
There were formal surveys and polls conducted...Google it!
