Ronald Reagan raised the debt ceiling 18 times. Donald Trump raised the debt ceiling twice

Since when have the Republicans been hardliners on the debt ceiling.

The time to cut costs is during the budget negotiations.

If the US defaults, every American will suffer.

McCarthy has agreed to raise the debt limit...Joe Biteme doesnt want to cut spending.. That is why you are such a stupid person....

Reagan faced a hostile democrat congress and a hostile media. It's a wonder the Gipper managed to become one of the greatest presidents in modern history.
When did that happen?

The results showed that historians had ranked Franklin D. Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, Lyndon B. Johnson, Woodrow Wilson, Harry S. Truman, John F. Kennedy, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama as the best since that year.

Yes Reagan is among the most fiscally irresponsible Presidents in the nation's history

Look it up. Do you really want to compare the Reagan years to today's doddering old fool? The point is that Reagan faced a radical left wing media that was determined to undermine his administration and a determined left wing democrat majority that was not so determined to return to the Carter era but none the less hated Reagan. The Gipper fooled them all.

This paltry trap of insignificant idiocy is played out every time the GOP has the House and the Dems have the rest. It's rather old that the GOP all of a sudden are concerned about the debt, they never mention it when they be in power.

Gotta love people who quote Wiki, lol. Don't they think we know that virtually anyone can change what it says!

When did we last default?

What was our debt to GDP percentage at that time? Oh, and by the way, YOURE WELCOME for him winning the Cold War.
