This is my issue with what Hillary did. There was intentionality. Not to expose classified documents, but to hide from FOIA. Her intentional act to circumvent the FOIA laws lead to the exposure of classified information. And that information was exposed on an unsecure mail server that was associated with the Sec State's email. Literally, every foreign country on the planet would have that email address which would lead them to that server. Certainly countries like China and Russia. She did what she did to deprive US citizens of information they have a right to in order to further her political career. And she didn't care if those actions put the country at risk. Should she go to jail? Maybe. In 2017, investigators found that Birchum “knowingly removed more than 300 classified files or documents” and kept them in “his home, his overseas officer’s headquarters, and a storage pod in his driveway,” according to the release. More than 30 of those files and documents were marked “Top Secret” – the highest level of classification.
