how much would they give out that wasn't already given out?Plenty more could be done with Walmart if it were a worker-owned co-op. They would save LOTS OF MONEY.

based on?Yep $20 per hour for a high school kids seems right where it should be.
No sir, we're not. You assume that if Walmart was owned and operated by its workers collectively, they would be conducting business within the exact same constraints as Walmart does today, with identical priorities and responsibilities, and you're wrong. The outcome of Walmart's business operations wouldn't be identical or even similar to what they are today, and that includes its potential. Your so-called "math" is being misapplied to Walmart in a completely different context and form. Remember I said, if Walmart continues to exist, in a more socialistic society, it would take a different form?
then how would they be able to hire other workers and pay them?
It is a wonder they keep finances at home.If Walmart because a worker-owned coop, the outfit would collapse.
It would take time of course, but they would fall behind other retailers as there would be motivation to not increase productivity and reduce jobs, renovate their stores, etc. K Mart and Sears didn't keep up with the times and now are gone.
Walmart would face the same fate, if they used their effort to promote housing for its employees instead of a more tremendous shopping experience for its customers.
Based on where wages should be todaybased on?
based on what? Magic eight ball?Based on where wages should be today
So you have a problem with an emoyer paying a kid $20 per hour? What difference does it make?based on what? Magic eight ball?
fk no, I was responding to your insane statement. Why did you avoid bringing that into the conversation, I know, it was rhetorical. I still would like to know where you got your info from.So you have a problem with an emoyer paying a kid $20 per hour? What difference does it make?
It’s on you creating dependencyCULTISTS be like "they hungry?" Tell them to go to a restaurant and eat. They don't care one bit. let them starve.
We already have Social Security for the disabled and elderly. It is easy to be dismissive when you are doing well, without being thoughtful. But things happen in life, in which that can be lost, and you grow old and older anyway. You would then become dependent for some income or food aid coming. It is not wise to not care about what help is taken away from those with disability and all the elderly who would not longer have the work the younger would be doing. Provision for them is in the interest of us all.

I have no idea what your point is to this discussion? It is easy to be dismissive when you are doing well, without being thoughtful. But things happen in life, in which that can be lost, and you grow old and older anyway. You would then become dependent for some income or food aid coming. It is not wise to not care about what help is taken away from those with disability and all the elderly who would not longer have the work the younger would be doing. that's truly fake as shit you just posted, quote someone saying that.CULTISTS be like "they hungry?" Tell them to go to a restaurant and eat. They don't care one bit. let them starve.
yeah, not sure where that other dude went. Had nothing to do with the discussion. We already have Social Security for the disabled and elderly.
But we should not be giving food stamps to able-bodied people in their 20s through 50s who refuse to get even a part-time job.
