Trump and the Far Right are using food, health care and housing as tools to get what they personally want! Is that what you want from a president?

Persons here illegally have no rights to food, health care or housing. Democrats should stop demanding these things and pass the budget without these add one. It would be a shame to deprive any Americans of health care. Democrats should vote for American health care only and pass the bill.
Have to pass it to see whats in it, very nancy.

When did food shelter & health care become a right,

That's a glossed over
Democrat pie in the
sky lie,
Promises to everyone then crickets.

Please link to the portion of the constitution that says the gov't is supposed to feed, clothe, house and provide health insurance for ANYONE. Suck it up parasite.
Please link to the portion of the Constitution that says we should have an air force. Or to the part about subsidizing corporations. You scum don't complain bout handouts to the rich, but for people in need you run your mouths about the constitution. So then, if this is a Christian nation, what did Jesus say about these things, heathen?

They are called human rights. Since this nation was founded as a Christian nation, they are rights endowed by the creator. Since the congress has never been 100 percent Democrat......

You mean paying the military with emergency funds but not funding the hungry with the same funds, and sending $20 billion to Argentina to help the poor is not considered horse shit to you? Perhaps you should get your head out of Trump's ass and smell the shit that is there.
If you don't approve, tell Schumie to quit grandstanding and open the Government.

Schumer is not "grand" standing. He stands for health care for millions of Americans that do not have it or will lose it under Trump's Big Beautiful Bill.

If that is "grand" standing, then Trump must be called out for his "colossal" standing for the rich versus the poor and middle class.

Do I need to remind you of this FACT?

America’s wealthiest billionaires got $698 billion richer this year—and Trump’s tax policy could give them a new windfall

Do you consider defending a person's right to food, to health care, and t housing a political tool?
So now Schumer is defending the right to food by denying its distribution? You win the pretzel prize. Clean CR vote---republicans, 52; democrats, 2; independent, 1 YEA.
Schumer democrats vote 44 No. FIFTEEN TIMES. SCHUMER SHUTDOWN.

that is true but it is worse by the right than by the left. The Far right has been in control of the Republican party since 2016 and maybe even back to 2008, while the far left has not been in control of the party at all.

It is the extremes that are not willing to work/compromise and that means that the lack of compromise is more from the right than the left.
Democrats shut down the gov't instead of passing a clean CR to facilitate budget NEGOTIATIONS but in your addled mind it is the republicans who are refusing to negotiate and compromise. You're showing yourself as a fool AGAIN.

Democrats sacrificed the poor on the alter of illegal immigration.
Biden made a mistake but then he started to correct that one year before he left the presidency. In other words, he realized his mistake and took action. In addition, they did not "sacrifice" the poor with the illegal immigration as nothing was "given" to the illegal immigrants that was taken away from the poor.

Now tell me why it is that Trump continues to make big mistakes and NEVER acknowledge them as mistakes and corrects them?

The idea that Republicans use food, health care, and housing as "political tools" is a viewpoint frequently expressed by Democratic politicians and progressive advocacy groups in the context of policy debates and budget negotiations. They argue that Republican proposals for spending cuts and policy changes to social safety net programs are designed for political leverage rather than the stated goal of improving the programs' efficiency or the lives of recipients.
  • Food Assistance (SNAP): Democrats have accused Republicans of "weaponizing hunger and starvation" by proposing significant cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, or food stamps) and supporting stricter work requirements. Critics argue that withholding SNAP benefits, especially during government shutdown debates, uses vulnerable populations as "political pawns".
  • Health Care (ACA and Medicaid): Republicans have consistently worked to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and have proposed substantial cuts to Medicaid. Opponents of these measures argue that they would cause millions of Americans to lose health insurance or face massive premium increases, forcing families to choose between coverage and other basic necessities. Republicans, in turn, argue their approach aims to lower costs and increase access to affordable, high-quality care without expanding federal debt.
  • Housing: House Democrats have condemned Republican plans that proposed billions in cuts to federal housing support and limits on rental assistance, arguing these would force millions into homelessness or unstable living situations. The Republican platform generally favors reducing the federal government's role in housing policy and promoting responsible homeownership.

Isn't a president supposed to be helping all the American citizens and not just the rich ones?

The thread title is an opinion and an incorrect one at that, posing as if asking a question where answer should be “no” but can’t be answered that way as it’s a fake premise
Easy for thinkers to see through the ruse fake
