Republican senators block extension to ACA subsidies

I really don't care what you call it, but insurance can't be profitable if covers pre-existing conditions.
The private companies that help administer single payer insurance do, indeed, make a profit. Does the government, or its citizens? Why no, they just spend less and are healthier.

Less is spent per person, with better outcomes and access.

These things are academic, the debate was over long ago.

If you're dependent on government to pay your bills, not my problem.
Well, that's where you're wrong. We all pay for indigent care, and for illness and disability, etc. An America with worse health outcomes and less access is more expensive for all of us.

Obamacare is a waste of our taxes and full of fraud. It would be cheaper to give the money to the person and let them buy the insurance of their choice.

You go ahead and find me something that isn't full of fraud. Surely you jest, if you say that about private insurance. Yes, we will have to continue to operate this system on the backs of human beings.

If you think health insurance so people get healthcare is a waste of our taxes, I would say you have left the political arena and are making a moral or ethical argument.

There's a better way than Obamacare.

Do you believe Americans were better off a year ago than now.
Which ones? The richer among us are doing well. Record household debt and 1.1+ million jobs lost, for the rest. We have seen this rerun before.

I'm certainly not rich and I'm much better off. Check in again this time next year and let me know how things are.

Then, you are among the richer.

The numbers don't lie. Record household debt. 1.1 million job losses. Inflation, and inflationary policies. Spiking loan defaults.

I'm at poverty level, but I can see by what this administration has accomplished this past year is outstanding. You're obviously ignoring the border, hostages return, peace in Middle East, Iran crippled, illegal immigrants kicked out, etc.

That's quite the "America First" list you have there. Did we also help Nigeria?

You’re at poverty level? What were you before? Living in a cardboard box?
