Remember That "Affordability Crisis" Under Trump?

NO government is not working for us.
If THEY WERE they would be honest.
And not feed us party propaganda.
And each side would stop telling us THEY know better than us,
how OUR OWN life's should be run!
And both do it big time.

The late shows are part of the reason we live in a soft tyranny. Approved by the deep state to push the narrative.
Freedom *****. The late shows make sure we don't live in tyranny. If Trump does something about their free speech then that's tyranny. He has to take it.

Trump is the deep state now. Don't swallow his narrative. He lies. He says prices are down when they are up.

Right now all the yes men and women reporting at the white House and Pentagon are deep state plants. They will ask Trump the soft questions and ignore the lies and corruption.

Your response is a joke right?

But...but the price doubled.

Grocery stores survive on razor thin margins, but they ate the cost of double the turkey.

And he bought into it.

sealybobo needs an MRI to see if his brain still exists.
Excuse me? Did you hear Turkey prices DOUBLED this year but major grocery stores ate the price increase rather than **** us on Thanksgiving? Those Grocery Stores probably love Trump. They are trying their best to keep prices down.

Don't forget you idiots that Amazon was going to put what tariffs were costing next to each item they sold. Trump lost his mind and threatened them. The next day they decided not to do that. Papageorgio never said a word about that.

How could we forget? It's still happening.

I love it that Trump is now claiming the word "affordability" is a hoax by the Democrats. He knows his supporters are stupid.

Remember in January he bragged that he won with the "grocery" word/hoax.

He thinks this is the same thing? It's not because Biden didn't cause the inflation. Trump has caused it. Now he has the balls to say maybe this year we will only be able to afford 3 tolls instead of 20?" Why is that Donald? It's because you raised the price of dolls you ******* idiot!

Biden caused the inflation and we are still living with it

Biden caused the inflation and we are still living with it
Did he really? Inflation happened all over the world. Tell us how Biden caused it. Or was it Covid and supply chains and Trump's first stimulus check?

Come on dude. Don't just blame Biden's stimulus checks he sent out. Trump sent one out too.

Trump wants to cause MORE inflation by making the Feds lower interest rates before they are ready to.

Biden caused the inflation and we are still living with it

Republicans at RNC blame Biden for inflation. Economists say it's misleading

A pandemic-era supply bottleneck is the main culprit

But Trump can't blame anyone but himself for the prices being higher this year than last year.

Are you better off this year? No you are not.

I feel a lot more confident in the economy. Under the last administration, we saw some of the largest increases in prices in 50 years in terms of percentage points (19 percent) and overall inflation (9 percent). The inflation reduction act was anything but an irresponsible spending grab by Democrats.

Trump Administration is aiming to level the global playing field with equitable tariffs, cut unnecessary and irresponsible spending, and keep domestic energy prices within reason.

I don’t understand why and how Democrat voters can hate hate these policies and outcomes that are more favorable to them. Do they like paying $4.00 or less than $3.00 per gallon of gas?
pRICES AND COSTS ARE STILL GOING UP.

Inflation in Iran is out of sight so how come that doesnt cause our inflation. Because inflation is caused by domestic policies.
Biden started with 1.4% inflation and 6.4% GDP. I one year inflation was 9.1% Biden caused by massive debt spending The American Rescue Plan. Why GDP was 6.4 we didnt need to be rescued and you dont put massive debt into high GDP
Then he drove up oil prices by suppressing production below demand. Our economy is based on oil its an most things we manufacture not just gas.
The result the worst inflation in 40 years

If Trump is doing a good job how is this headline possible?

Fox News Poll: Voters say White House is doing more harm than good on economy

Unhappy with the economy. Pain with prices. Unsure about Trump administration policies. It adds up to high disapproval among the president’s loyal constituencies.

Here are six takeaways from the latest Fox News national survey.

Some 76% of voters view the economy negatively. That’s worse than the 67% who felt that way in July and the 70% who said the same at the end of former President Biden’s term.

Large numbers, overall and among Republicans, say their costs for groceries, utilities, healthcare and housing have gone up this year.

Voters blame the president. About twice as many say President Donald Trump, rather than Biden, is responsible for the current economy. And three times as many say Trump’s economic policies have hurt them (they said the same about Biden’s last year). Plus, approval of how Trump is handling the economy hit a new low, and disapproval of his overall job performance hit record highs among core supporters.

Trump’s job performance drew career-high disapproval among men, White voters and those without a college degree.

Eighty-six percent of Republicans approve, down from 92% in March.

Among all voters, 41% approve of the job Trump is doing, while 58% disapprove. Only once have his ratings been lower and that was during his first term, 38-57% in October 2017. Two months ago, it was 46-54%.

How did Trump lose 6% in 9 months? What did Biden do? I'm sure you will blame Biden.

pRICES AND COSTS ARE STILL GOING UP.
National average per gallon of gas is less than $3. Not all costs are going up. More importantly, they are no where near the rapid rate we saw under Biden-Harris.

Gas goes above and below $3. It did under Biden and will under Trump. When gas goes up are you going to hold it against Trump?

I suspect the oil companies like Trump and maybe they are trying to help him out right now? Or Trump has nothing to do with oil prices? But the CEO's of Exxon and Mobile and BP probably like Trump.

Have you told the orange charity thief? He promised lower prices and got elected, because of it.

Those poor rubes that voted for him... you should tell them, too.

‘Only so long’ before Trump’s tariff costs hit consumers, businesses warn

Corporate executives are telling investors that prices will rise as soon as January as pre-tariff inventory runs thin and holiday discounts disappear.

The Trump administration is touting record Black Friday shopping as a sign the president’s tariffs haven’t hurt the economy the way some predicted.

Economists and businesses say: Just wait.

Retail giants have proven more adept than expected at cushioning the blow of President Donald Trump’s steep tariff hikes over the spring and summer, keeping prices for consumer goods from surging this year by as much as many economists anticipated. But business executives and corporate analysts are warning they can’t do that forever.

That could come as soon as January, according to economists, as holiday discounts come to a close and retailers run low on inventory they secured at pre-tariff prices. Major retailers like Kohl’s, Abercrombie, Williams-Sonoma and Under Armour have all warned of price increases starting as early as late December or January.

This isn't like Trump lying to get us to vote for him. This is going to happen in January. This isn't like when Republicans predicted a major recession on Biden's watch. This is next month.

Trump is gaslighting us. I don't know if USMB Republicans are too or if Trump gaslighted them and they believe the nonsense they say. Worst president ever but they'll say best. Proof they are the ones with TDS or any kind of syndrom.

You are correct…. Gas moves up and down as do prices for other goods and services. Regaling gas, I measure a President’s policies and how they impact or influence domestic gas prices by looking at the average price of gas over the course of each year of their term. Look at the chart below and the average annual price of gas for each president. The average prices for the Bush and Trump terms are less than Obama and Biden - that’s a lot of data points.

Now, if other factors outside of a President’s policies raise or lower the average price of gas AND a President’s policies are increasing costs to the domestic energy companies (eg regulations + taxes + restrictions), then I hold a President accountable.
