Remember That "Affordability Crisis" Under Trump?

Eighty-six percent of Republicans approve, down from 92% in March.

How did Trump lose 6% in 9 months? What did Biden do? I'm sure you will blame Biden.
Polls change all the time. Wait until next year when tax refunds hit and the cuts kick in

I love it that Trump is now claiming the word "affordability" is a hoax by the Democrats. He knows his supporters are stupid.

Remember in January he bragged that he won with the "grocery" word/hoax.

He thinks this is the same thing? It's not because Biden didn't cause the inflation. Trump has caused it. Now he has the balls to say maybe this year we will only be able to afford 3 tolls instead of 20?" Why is that Donald? It's because you raised the price of dolls you ******* idiot!
Trump didn’t cause inflation anymore than Biden did. We were coming out of a pandemic, inflation was world wide. You can’t help yourself can you?

So when I literally pay Trump tariff charge as part of the cost of my purchase that's "Biden causing inflation no more than Biden".

Right? :slap:

The inflation with the tariffs is all Trump. The inflation under Biden was pandemic related, in other words it wasn’t Trump or Bidens fault. I am fine with the inflation because of tariffs, I will pay out in the long term. At least we aren’t trying to pass a $6.4 trillion spending monstrosity.

Speaking of affordability...did you know some Dem blue states are OBSTRUCTING FEDERAL LAW denying their citizens the lawful tax cuts passed by congress and signed into law by the President in the big beautiful bill? Dems are real assholes!

Trump.is indeed causing and is going to cause inflation, with his inflationary policies. GDP will also contract.

And now the Fed has to implement inflationary monetary policy, because of trump's staggering job losses.

You are correct…. Gas moves up and down as do prices for other goods and services. Regaling gas, I measure a President’s policies and how they impact or influence domestic gas prices by looking at the average price of gas over the course of each year of their term. Look at the chart below and the average annual price of gas for each president. The average prices for the Bush and Trump terms are less than Obama and Biden - that’s a lot of data points.

Now, if other factors outside of a President’s policies raise or lower the average price of gas AND a President’s policies are increasing costs to the domestic energy companies (eg regulations + taxes + restrictions), then I hold a President accountable.
I have no doubt with Democratic clean air regulations, gas is more expensive under us. And the oil companies probably don't like us.

All you are making me think about is how Trump has dismantled the green energy gains we made. Pathetic. Meanwhile, don't forget even if gas is $1 a gallon cheaper, EVERYTHING else is more. Now we all need raises again to keep up with Trumpflation.

National average per gallon of gas is less than $3. Not all costs are going up. More importantly, they are no where near the rapid rate we saw under Biden-Harris.
We always pick out the things One party is doing we don't like.
BOTH party's seem limited in being honest about ALL the many things that have been going on.
That do not help the average AMERICAN. NO MATTER WHO HAS THE LEADERSHIP.
WORKING together for all is dead.
Party before country, and greed rules.

Inflation is right back where it was when Trump was sworn in.

You must be so proud.

Again, you can't fool anyone who pays the bills. No matter how hard you try. You just look stupid.

Your EBT card is solely responsible for your bills

Again, I was addressing sealy, and he was claiming the pandemic inflation was from trump. I already stated my views on today’s inflation.

Well, now, CNN is admitting that prices have actually been in check under Trump all along. Add to that the fact that we have had record Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sales, even though everything is so "unaffordable" and Americans have to stand in soup lines. But, CNN is warning us that that could possiblly all end next July.

When President Donald Trump introduced his “Liberation Day” tariffs in April, many economists predicted Americans would soon experience massive price increases. While inflation has ticked up in the eight months that passed, it’s been nowhere near levels initially projected.

Gaslight much?

Well Americans at large are not, that's why Trump is lying about it.

If you believe so, then in your little world you are right.
Oh, any informed person could argue it. Trumps mismanagement prolonged the most dangerous part of the pandemic, and it's a very easy thing to demonstrate. And even easier to argue the revenge spending was exacerbated in both focus and scale by this prolonged period of mismanagement.

No cultist will get it, for sure. But you could try...

If you want to believe so, I got no issue with your opinion, it is just an opinion.
