This Strike Is Trump's Fault

I dont care about their whimpering. They voluntarily walked off. Id fire them all. I do care about the country so if I ever voted for a dem I'd basically be saying...............screw the country, and Im not going to do that.
Pay them the meadely 5 percent. Its so easy to do. Problem solved.

Remember you didn't like Bill Clinton? Don't you feel stupid now that you didn't vote for Gore and Hillary?

My MAGA brother yesterday tried to suggest that Hillary wouldn't have been as great as Bill was. Why I asked? He said "because she isn't Bill Clinton". I said what policies did she disagree with him on? Then he went on to admit Bill would probably be running things with her. Exactly. But Fox News and Rush Limbaugh lived in your head rent free for how many years telling you they were all no good? Shit. The only bad presidents we have had were 3 Bush terms and 2 Trump terms. That's 20 years you have living rent free in my head because you sucked.

"I think Bill Clinton was a great president,’" Trump said in the interview that was conducted shortly after the 2008 presidential election on NY1's "Inside City Hall" program.

"You know, you look at the country then. The economy was doing great. Look at what happened during the Clinton years. I mean we had no war, the economy was doing great, everybody was happy. A lot of people hated him because they were jealous as hell,’" Trump said.
You in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024.

The sad part is you will still be obsessing over Trump in 2029, 2030 and beyond you really need to seek professional help this obsession you have to make Trump the center of your life is very unhealthy. I sincerely hope one day you get the help you so clearly need I wish you all the best now I have things to do that do not include your never ending Trump obsession.

Nope. You may not recall but I hated Bush equally. And you loved/defended Bush just as much as you do Trump.

And you hated the Clinton's remember? That's because Republicans told you to

Asked about Hillary Clinton, Trump said: "I think she is going to go down at a minimum as a great senator. I think she is a great wife to a president."

Isn't Long Island were the last bastion of gop voters near NYC live?

I'd not be surprised if the NY governor's failing to work with the union is not intentional.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) oversees both the NYC transit system and the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), and many workers earn salaries that are above the national average. For instance, at least half of LIRR workers earn six-figure salaries, with the median pay reported at $104,146.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) average salary (2024): $98,907, 47% higher than the U.S. average and 80% higher than the U.S. median.
They're crying poverty while they make 47% more than the average American.

Then the state parasites vampire sucked them dry with NY state taxes and fees and tolls. Multiple overlapping layers of government entities all PORKING out. State, county, city, township. Then there are the 'authorities' a whole basket of even more government agencies that hit you with taxes and fees. Then there's the corruption holy shit!

The greatest inflationary force in the "Tri-State Area" (NY-CT-NJ) is public sector employment. I read once that one forth of the entire population either works for some agency or is supported by someone who does. And that doesn't count contractors, service providers, vendors, and consultants. The worst "government" agency in the entire country, from the standpoint of fleecing the people, is the Port Authority.

And all of the non-management employees of all of these agencies are members of Collective Bargaining Units. "Management" in that region has a habit of giving away the figurative store in negotiations, because whatever they give to the union ends up in their own paychecks and benefits within a year or two.

I realize that blaming Trump, as done in the OP, is meant to be inflammatory, but blame the State legislators who foolishly granted these hundreds of thousands of government workers the right to strike. A pox on all their houses.
Pay the workers their raise. Problem solved. One can stand with workers or management.
