No, WW is understaning that "taxes" is a very generic term. There are Federal Income Taxes, FICA Taxes, State Income Taxes, even in some area Local Income Taxes.

If your employer caps you at 40 hours (assuming FT employement), you aren't seen any change.

And if the employer has a mixture of PT an FT janitors and surges the PT people into extra hours, the FT janitor isn't seeing more.

All in all even without the benefit of no taxes on OT and tips you are better off and keeping more of your money

So if you work a job that has OT you can make up to 12500 in OT pay tax free
