More specifically, Democrats say that a hard-working janitor or nurse’s aide doesn’t deserve to keep more of their earnings, but that a non-contributing welfare mother deserves to have other people pay for her soda and junk food.No one turned noses up. Democrats say you don't deseve it.
Shhhhhhh…..World Watcher doesn’t want them knowing that. He wants them to think that if a portion of their earnings is now exempt, whereas previously it was all taxable, somehow that means they’ll pay more.
No maybes about itMaybe, maybe not.
If your employer caps you at 40 hours (assuming FT employement), you aren't seen any change.
And if the employer has a mixture of PT an FT janitors and surges the PT people into extra hours, the FT janitor isn't seeing more.

Yes and by not taxing OT pay you’re paying less taxes if you get OT pay then you were before Trump did thatNo, WW is understaning that "taxes" is a very generic term. There are Federal Income Taxes, FICA Taxes, State Income Taxes, even in some area Local Income Taxes.

Nobody said it was specificallyFICA isn't exempt for additoinal OT pay.

Lisa is pointing out that you are desperate to keep from the voters that Trump is reducing their federal taxes. You want to blame him because the libtard states are taxing their people into oblivion with their local taxes? No, WW is understaning that "taxes" is a very generic term. It’s really not a hard thing to grasp

They are pissed that hard working Americans are receiving any breakCorrect no tax on overtime pay. The 10.00 is overtime pay. Is English your second language
Nobody said it was specifically
What is exempt is $12500 of overtime pay
So if you work a job that has OT you can make up to 12500 in OT pay tax free

Duh.Apparently that was a lie.
If you make 20 an hour work an hour of overtime and get paid time-and-a-half ($30), you pay no tax on the “half”— the $10 but you still get taxed on the $20
No you don’t pay taxes on up to 12500.00No it’s not “tax free”, there are still FICA taxes and some states planning on keeping OT pay subject to state income tax.
At the end of the day will they have more money in their pocket? Sure never said different.
WW
No you don’t pay taxes on up to 12500.00
You can deduct up to that much if your OT
Maybe read the law
So, Trump’s tax bill - despite the Democrats’ attempt to block it - has saved them money. Glad you could finally admit it:No it’s not “tax free”, there are still FICA taxes and some states planning on keeping OT pay subject to state income tax.

Nope on OT under the new law you csn exempt up to 12500 in OT pay from taxesYes you do pay “taxes”. Namely FICA and in some states state income tax.
Say “you don’t pay FEDERAL INCOME TAXES on…” and I could agree with you.

So, Trump’s tax bill - despite the Democrats’ attempt to block it - has saved them money. Glad you could finally admit it:
- Trump is good for working-class people who contribute to society
- Democrats are good for people who don’t, and instead TAKE from society
Guess which one we need for the country to survive?
