You're right about that. But I think the end is assured whether I get to keep a few more pennies each week or not.
Like in Minn the most corrupt in history and its all democratswe will pay for the corrupt governments we have put in place.
Since it’s all overtime, “no tax on overtime” would mean that none of it should be taxed...all $30 that was made.
No dummy, after 40 hours the OT rate is 30.00 per hour.
Like in Minn the most corrupt in history and its all democrats
The most obvious place to start is with the state of Minnesota that has enabled the Somali fraud, along with Omar and her husband who profited from it.we will pay for the corrupt governments we have put in place.

The hypocrisy of Dems on this issue could not be more apparent. They are wailing that the working class is not getting tax-free income on the ENTIRE overtime rate - and just the segment that is the overtime pay - and at the same time forcing their people to add the exempt amount back in on their state returns.Yes, the OT RATE, not the OT PAY.
BIG ******* DIFFERENCE.

IOW, they complain that only SOME is tax-free, and then make none of it tax-free!
I guess when Trump says "no tax on overtime" he assumes you can define "overtime."
But from the party that can't define a woman, struggling to understand what "overtime" means doesn't shock me.
No, not EVERY PENNY YOU MAKE past 40 hours is overtime. Because you are paid per hour to work. If you are working overtime, the extra you are paid, the "half time" is the ONLY OVERTIME YOU ARE MAKING. The rest is straight pay. When you are paid OVERTIME, it is referred to as a PAY RATE, not a PAY AMOUNT. Your overtime PAY RATE is 1.5x normal pay. It doesn't say EVERY PENNY YOU MAKE PAST 40 HOURS IS OVERTIME PAY. Nope.
But not everyone is smart enough to understand this.
(insert meme of giant crowd chanting suckers and losers and fingers pointed forward)Yes, the OT RATE, not the OT PAY.
BIG ******* DIFFERENCE.
You can say that as much as you like, doesn’t make it true.**** off. $20 an hour. After that OT = $30
We got an Accountant wanabe. Figuring payroll taxes on overtime involves treating it like regular pay (FICA), with that in mind, I still paid the employee $30 an hour. You can say that as much as you like, doesn’t make it true.
Look, I’ll try and make it as simple as possible
You earn $20 per hour at your job. Now, let’s say you have a job where the employer is exempt from paying federal overtime, like say some trucking jobs, your rate remains $20 per hr. after 40hrs.
If the job pays federal overtime, your hourly rate is still $20 hr, plus 1/2 time at $10 additional per hr, the overtime rate, making your rate at $30 per hr, for any hours worked past 40 hrs.
The “overtime” is the $10 additional making your rate $30 hr overall past 40 hrs.
Ask ANY business owner.
No dumbass, I never claimed to be anything other than what I am.We got an Accountant wanabe. Figuring payroll taxes on overtime involves treating it like regular pay (FICA), with that in mind, I still paid the employee $30 an hour.
All ******* bullshit and it ends in 2028.
Of course it was, the law is public and has beenDont get me wrong...tax relief on part is a good thing.
But that wasn’t communicted--that it would only be a % of your overtime pay. Thats my point.
I really don't know where they get this type of thinking...The law is clear, and how this is being done is like you say, in black and white....Of course it was, the law is public and has been
So, if it's a "few pennies each week" to you, then why don't you just give the savings back to the treasury, to put toward the debt of this great nation? You're right about that. But I think the end is assured whether I get to keep a few more pennies each week or not.
What threads like this highlight is just how little Dembots know about the real worldI really don't know where they get this type of thinking...The law is clear, and how this is being done is like you say, in black and white....
