Remember “No Tax on Overtime”?

You're FOS, Reagan sold weapons to Iran.
The funneled the $$$ to Nicaragua.

Trump attempted a coup on the US government.
His buddy in Brazil got 27 in prison for trying the same thing.
Trump's cult let him go.

Keep drinking Trump's kool-aid.

Yet remarkably the 1.5 hours of overtime are what you're actually working. The tax break you're getting is only on a fraction of the time you're working--hence he lied.

I guess it's one of those many many things we've come to understand with Trump and his supporters....they change the definition to show the blob in the best possible light. Remember back when you guys said "disinfectant" is "medicine"?

Such is life in the cult.
So then when you come to power again, you will enact the largest tax cut in American history. You are making known of your agendas spewing words that will make things more affordable. We will see how that comes about.

We can see yours too, Q-NUT.

NOT paying taxes on one half hour of an hour and a half of work, isn't what "No taxes on overtime" means.
You got played by your dear leader...................AGAIN.
Yes yes it does your ignorance of overtime and the law isn’t a surprise

You’ve never worked a day in your life

Overtime laws require employers to pay at least one and a half times the employee’s regular rate—known as time and a half—for overtime hours. For instance, if your regular hourly rate is $20, your overtime pay rate is $30 per hour.
Ok

Bullshit

OT is 30 an hour. That is the rate. Not 20+10

30
learn it

.5 hours of OT is $15
learn it

Let's check for understanding.

Sam (Short for Samual or Sammantha your choice) works at a local health clink. She works 8 hours per day but fills two different roles. 4 Hours in the morning she works as a Health Aid making $30 per hour helping patients. In the afternoon she works 4 hours in the back office doing secretarial work at $20 per hour.

One weekend a month she works as a Health Aid on Saturdays for 4 hours.

Two questions for the week she works overtime:
  • What is her standard pay, excluding overtime?
  • How is the rate calculated for the 4 additional hours (which multiplied by 4 hours gives the total pay for the extra hours)?
WW

Overtime pay should be mandatory 2x the regular pay. 1.5 x is a kick in the face. The sign of awful terrible rotten employers. Case closed.

Those a very poor wages. Laughable.

Those a very poor wages. Laughable.

Feel free to answser the question by:
  • Identifying any two hourly rates you wish,
  • Identifying any two ranges of hours worked in each assigned task at the different rates.

I guess Democrats are opposed to tax cuts for the middle class as it would benefit the workers

I forsee a rise in unions. Their voices are slowly being phased out.
Dems love unions. The get kickbacks from the union bosses who confiscate the workers money

Jesus people, it isn’t that hard…If $20 per hour, and you work more than 40 hours, then after 40 hours, an additional $10 per hour is added to your wage, meaning that $10 per hour additional is the overtime pay.
