Deleting comments is a form of censorship, that I don't believe USMB takes much part in, unless absolutely necessary.

My guess is this: EVERYONE went too far off topic, INCLUDING you, altho you choose to ignore that fact. You're just as responsible as anyone else for getting a thread locked.
