Zone1 Question For Catholics

What is your problem?

Let me give you another example: The Pope will become a Russian oligarch from Putins grace with 2.7 billion private assets - and he will tell you "Putin is the god of the world" - what could be your problem as a Christian with such a message? Let me tell you: You have not any problem at all. That's bullshit. No one knows the future - but a real infallibility of the Pope would bind the future into human categories.

The result of the doctrine "infallibility of the pope" had by the way also leaded to a splitting of the church. The Old Catholics split off. But because they were too small and unable to survive, they later joined the Church of England.

It is within the church absolutelly not any problem to discuss about the infallibility of the pope for example or any other theme and there is absolutelly not any need to split the church. We discuss about everything. "Has god a black beard or a white beard?" we could discuss. Nonsense? Not really if you are planning a theatre performance with a connection to the audience. Also no reason to split the church. ...

I am far from a Lefebvreist and I've really noticed the problems and accept that VII was the start of the problems.

.

You are a Lefebvreist - whether you like to know this or not. Marcel Lefebvre created this critics under the alias of Pope Pius. Indeed I'm sure Pope Pius had "killed" him because he splitted the church. Pius did do what was important in his time of history. A good man. And also John XXIII did do what was important in his time. A very good man. And so did do important things (like to bring an old lady over the street and other important holy deeds) very most of all people in the church. Not so Marcel Lefebvre. He splitted the church.

/—-/ That is just your hair brain conspiracy theory. Totally dumb.

I hope you know that you are not discussing. You are only propagarting you are right and all others are wrong. But this is not the sense of the teaching of the holy church. The holy church offers what people are able to use for their journey, for their pilgrimage.

/—-/ All I did was post the Vatican II explanation of infallibility. No need to lash out at me.
Believe what you want. It means nothing.

You never had a Catholic education, isn't it?

-----
Little Ahmed - a promising young Turk and hobby macho - was a failure at maths. His parents tried everything: teachers, tutors, quiz cards, special teaching centres - nothing helped.

As a last resort, someone advised them to try a Catholic school. ‘The nuns there are strict,’ they said.
Ahmed was promptly sent to school at St Boniface. On the very first day after school, Ahmed ran through the door and straight to his room, even without giving his mum a kiss.

He began to study furiously; books and papers were strewn all over the room. As soon as he finished eating, he ran upstairs without mentioning the television and buried himself even more in the books. His parents were astonished. This behaviour continued for weeks until the day his grades were handed out. Ahmed quietly put the envelope on the table and went to his room in horror. His mum opened the envelope.

Ahmed had got an A in maths! She ran up to his room, wrapped her arms around him and asked: ‘Ahmed, darling, how did this happen? Was it the nuns?’
‘No,’ Ahmed replied. ‘The first day I saw the boy nailed to the plus sign at school, I knew they couldn't take a joke!’

/——/ Seven years with the Sisters of Mercy, and two years with Franciscan Brothers. I belonged to the Knights of Columbus. As a side note, I served as an alter boy in the old Latin Mass, and I was married to a Catholic school teaser for 46 years. You dope.

And you learned nothing what's essential? ...

Are you able to explain to me what you expect from your conversation with me?

This is what really is happening with the Russian patriarch of Moscow. The boss of the boss of the Russian orthodox church is the atheist Putin.

But whatever tells someone to you - even if it is the highest authority - nothing takes away the own responsibility in the eyes of god. This should know every Christian.

Your whole US-American government for example supports in Germany Nazis from the political party AfD. Both big Christian churches here - Catholics and Protestants - warned not to be a useful idiot of Nazis and to vote for them. So what means this for you now? Amerika first (Trump government first) or God first (Bishops: "No political power for Nazis in Germany")?

No no no no no ... think!!!!! ... say nothing now ... Take your time. When god created time he made a lot.

/—-/ I expect nothing from you

Aha. You use a lot of words for to expect nothing.

except to stop bothering me with your nonsense and go howl at the moon. Goodbye

Do you know what "Goodbye" means? It means "god be with you". Did you really like to say so or was this only caused from a lack of knowledge about your own language?

/—-/ Yes, I know the origin of Good Bye. You have not made a cogent argument yet. I’m not even sure what your argument is. Perhaps it’s just a cry for attention. Sad.
NOW GET LOST.

Why not just talk to God? God wants a relationship with you. God created you, not the Catholic Church. God gives you forever life, not the Catholic Church. So why do you go to the Catholic Church when God wants you to go to him? He's your father, not the Catholic Church.

By the way, I was a Catholic for 50 years and then the Holy Spirit opened my eyes.
That church has perverted every aspect of true Christianity. "Come out of her, my people!"

I'm not sure what his problem is but he does not get along well with anyone who doesn't kowtow to him. So pretty much he doesn't get along with anyone.

First of all thank you for not taking it personally about how I feel about the Catholic religion and second of all that's absurd! No offense again or anything, but if you don't say that somebody is guilty of a crime and you have prior knowledge about it then wouldn't you be just as guilty as the person who committed the crime if you didn't say anything about it? I would much rather lose my job than go to prison thank you very much.
It never ceases to amaze me how enthusiastic anti-Catholics are to offend Catholics-- but of course you act like you don't MEAN to. Whatever.

In any case, the priest does NOT know who the person is. How can he turn the person in?

I'm sure you wouldn't want someone you confessed your darkest sins to to go to the authorities and blab.

.

In the case of the penitent that confessed the grave sin and stated that they have no intention to stop committing the sin, the priest can toss them out of the confessional before the Act of Contrition, and refuse to give absolution, thus negating the whole point of the sinner even bothering with confession.

But I'm fine with the Seal of the Confessional staying in place. It was there when I converted, and nobody forced my conversion. I have committed an act tantamount to abetting murder, when I worked for an abortionist, and the only person who needs to know this is my Lord.

.
I've never heard of a priest kicking someone out of the confessional. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened and I'm sure it has. A good priest would tell the person that he can't help him since he isn't sorry and then politely ask him to leave.
