Did anyone else see the last story on tonight's NBC news?
It dealt with the "controversy" over provisional ballots, toted to be this election's hanging chads.
The gist of the story was this: People whose registration is questionable get to vote on provisional ballots. If their registration is later determined to be ok, then their ballot counts. If not, it doesn't. Some (liberals) are claiming that African Americans and other minorities will be "disenfranchised" because they might not vote at the right polling place.
Now, first, doesn't it stand to reason that if you're too effing dumb to find your correct polling place, or too lazy to track down the right one, that you shouldn't be voting anyway?
Second, if I were a "minority," I'd be pissed that "they" are insinuating I'm too dumb to vote in my precinct.
