Trump Can Pull Money From His Businesses Whenever He Wants — Without Ever Telling Us
ProPublica published today that Trump has now changed his trust arrangements so, despite a month earlier saying he was financially separated from his economic interest, that he can get at his money secretly at anytime.
Spicer, when asked, started yelling, “Just because a left-wing blog makes the point of something changing doesn’t mean it actually happened,” Spicer said. “I’m not aware that there was ever a change in the trust. And the idea that the President is withdrawing money at some point is exactly the purpose of what the trust, why a trust is set up, regardless of an individual.”
One, the President did in fact make the changes.
Two, ProPublica is not left wing; it is a giant in investigative journalism, with three Pulitzer Prize wins in its trophy case.
Three, the American people are quite fortunate to have such investigators holding the public officials accountable.
Four, this once again is a reminder just how dishonest a portion of our political spectrum is from Trump, Spicer, to the Alt Right Neo-Fascists on this Board.
