Predictions for 2010

Total private sector employment 2000=110,210
Total private sector employment 2007=115.005

Total private sector employment July 2010=106,971

You missed them. I'm waiting for all those jobs from the trillion dollar Obama stimulus.

Wow...thats an impressive body of work their Rabbi

Less than 4% growth over ....WHAT? Wait a minute!

You cut it off in 2007 and dropped all of 2008 where the unemployment soared from 4.8% to 7.8% ???

I have seen your deception in the past Rabbi...but this one is your masterpiece

And Obama's record has been? And the Democratic Congress' record has been?
Oh yeah, steady job loss and higher unemployment.
UE "soared" from 4.8 to 7.8%? Then what? Are you saying that it then "plummetted" to the 9.5% rate we have now?
No deception here, Nutwinger. The only one deceived is you.
Where are all those jobs Obama promised with his stimulus package? If you objected to Reagan's deficits, surely you will object when Obama's are THREE TIMES as large, right?

Wait a minute rabbi..

Time to come clean...why did you omit all of 2008 from your employment figures? Afraid to include the Bush economic collapse in your figures?

Deceptive...aren't you?

Yes ...the Bush Recession continued after Obama took office, much the same as the Carter Recession continued for two years under Reagan.

Three times as large? Are you equating 1980 dollars to 2010 dollars? Even you know better than that

Facts are inconvenient things, eh Nutwinger?
The fact is that Bush's record in his recession is far far better than Obama's in his.
Do you miss him yet?

BEcause there is no deception. The unemployment rate is almost twice under Obama what it was under Bush, even in his worst months of the 2001 recession. This is despite the fact that there were MORE jobs lost in the 2001 recession than this one.
Can't wiggle out of that one, Nutwinger.

Deceptive again, I see

Bush's debacle came in mid 2007 till he finally left office in Jan 2009. Anyone glancing at unemployment treds can see Bush was losing 600,000 jobs a month when he left office.

The fact that you intentionally left this period off of your analysis of Bush's employment record shows your lack of integrity

Changing the subject again, Nutwinger? In 2007 BUsh had a solidly Democratic Congress to deal with. He had cut a deal with Pelosi already for a "stimulus" package that didn't work, unlike what he had done in 2001, which did work.
The evidence is clear: GOP Congresses bring prosperity, Democratic Congresses bring misery and death.

So by your logic, the Democrats get credit for the Reagan recovery

Soooo... by your calculation from Jan 2000 to Jan 2009 was one complete disaster for W.

Yeah, real intellectually honest there.

The "Bush recession" ended about 2003. Did we have rocketing prosperity after that? No, not really. But, deficits were low compared to modern standard, and the last Bush/Republican budget passed in 2006. Look at what happened in 2007 and 2008 after the liberals took over congress. Boom spending skyrocketed.

Who controls the purse strings?

I disagree with a lot of what W spent on during his presidency with the exception of military expenditures and I'm VERY unhappy with the creation of the DoHS as well as expansion of the TSA.

But those criticisms are babyshit compared to the elephant turds of the Obama Admin and Pelosi congress's irresponsibility on PCP.

We are still feeling the effects of the Bush Recession to this day.

Exactly what budget items did the Democrats add in 2007 and 2008 that added to the deficit? What legislation did they manage to get past the Bush veto?

The deficit was caused by two unfunded wars, an ill advised tax cut and Medecare Part D. All were Republican initiatives

Can't run away from the truth, Nutwinger. How could anyone forget the first Democratic stimulus. That one worked so well they gave us another. Which has failed. And now looking at another, which will also fail.
What is the definition of insanity? Oh yeah, saying the same thing over and over again and hoping this time people will think it's true.

Utter horseshit and you damn well know it.

United States Public Debt | Ask.com Encyclopedia

Look at the debt increase from 2001 to 2006, the years that there was a republican congress. It increased only 7% which equates to about to about a 2.75 trillion increase. Not good, but far from what's to come.

Then from 2007 to 2008 with the liberal congress and Bush remembering his veto pen. it increased ANOTHER trillion in one year... which was another 5% or so. At least we can say that most of this is probably due to the vastly stupid TARP and bailout programs.

Then from 2009 to present with Obama and a supermajority liberal senate you get an increase of 22% to the national debt! 22% in 2 years! And you have the audacity to say that Obama's doing better?!?! That we're suffering from the Bush admin still? Oh I'm sorry no. You don't get to say such stupid things unchecked. That is an increase of the debt of 2.75 Trillion! The same increase that was done in the Bush administration in 5 years. You can try and blame what you want. We are drowning in debt which your god has doubled down on.

The deficit was caused by two unfunded wars, an ill advised tax cut and Medecare Part D. All were Republican initiatives

Regale us with what exactly new has caused such a spike in spending under P-BO? And how it's not really adding to the debt.

No no... you don't get to parse the budget for your convenience. They are to blame as well as the elitist republicans many more of whom got voted out in 08 because of that. Bush had to pass what they gave him or veto the works. And whatever they DID pass in toto is still theirs to be blamed for.

The President with the most vetoes was FDR with 635 and 9 of those (1%) were overridden by Congress. I mention this only for perspective.

More recently LBJ had 30 vetoes and a Democratic Congress didn't override any.
Nixon had 43 with 7 of those overturned by a Democratic Congress.
Ford had 66 with 12 overridden by a Democratic Congress.
Carter had 31 with 2 overridden by a Democratic Congress.
Reagan had 78 with 9 overridden by a Democratic Congress.
George HWB had 44 with 1 overridden by a Democratic Congress.
Clinton had 37 with 2 overridden by a GOP Congress.
GWB had 12 with 4 overridden by a Democratic Congress.
Obama so far has issued one pocket veto meaning that he just let the bill die without signing it. So far Congress has not ressurrected it.

1) Double dip recession

2) Unemployment hits 14%

3) Credit Bubble pops

4) Iran tests 1st nuclear weapon

5) Obama's favorable rating hits 19

6) Democrats lose House & Senate

7) Gasoline hits $ 7.00 a gallon
THAT will never happen
i doubt it will drop much below 40 if it even gets to 40%

My prediction will be between 25-35% . And that will put it toward the actual number of Hardcore leftwingers there are. (A Minority to be absolutely sure).
