The thread where I make Democrats angry- why we lost in 2024!

Hardly.

The only reason why Democrats lost in 2024 was because of Biden's infirmities.

By 2026, Trump will have turned the economy into such a shit show that even the deepest red districts will be giving Republicans their walking papers.
Just hold the course.

Since 99% of my posts make Republicans Angry,
Incorrect , 100% of them do.

So here is my list, 3 REAL reasons why Democrats got their asses handed to them in 2024.

1- the Biden Junta opened the goddamned borders to over 15,000,000 illegals in order to interfere with the elections by making those illegals electors thereby watering down the Republican/Conservative vote; a total violation of our due process rights

2- the Biden Junta adopted the Green New Hoax whereby gasoline, coal and LPG would have been banned

3- the wholesale introduction of RADICAL MARXISM

There I fixed it for you/

Did they reduce your borscht ration again at the Russian Troll farm?

Since 99% of my posts make Republicans Angry, I thought I'd do a post where I antagonize Democrats with hard, cold truths. Because it seems to me most of the Democrat discussion is "We weren't radical enough!"

So here is my list, 11 reasons why Democrats got their asses handed to them in 2024.

1) Joe Biden – completely and utterly screwed his party. It should have been evident to everyone around him that, at 81, he didn’t have the acuity or stamina to wage a campaign against Trump. He maybe never did, but the unique nature of the 2020 election gave him a pass. In 2020, he promised to be a transitional president. A second term never should have been in the cards.

In any event, Biden should have withdrawn after the 2022 midterms, and the Democrats did better than they deserved to because Trump insisted on extreme MAGA candidates for winnable races. A vigorous primary campaign would have tempered the steel of the eventual nominee.

2) Kamala Harris – In one aspect, it’s easy to be sympathetic; she had to hop in and pick up a ball that had been fumbled. That said, she was a poor candidate. She was a weak candidate in 2020 when she dropped out before the primaries, and she did little to distinguish herself as Vice President. But the Democrats were painted into a corner. Passing over her to pick someone more electable would have been seen as an insult to women and minorities. Additionally, there was the issue of who could legally use the money that Biden had raised to that point.

Harris should have done a self-evaluation and realized that she probably wasn’t the best candidate. She didn’t. We got the result we should have expected.

...

7) Immigration – Immigration has become a significant crisis, which Biden and Harris did not effectively manage. Part of the problem is immigrants figured out the Asylum loophole and abused the heck out of it. The other part of the problem is that Biden did very little to discourage immigration. While they deported more people than Trump did during his first term, they didn’t like to talk about it because they thought it wouldn’t play well with the Hispanic Community.

8) It’s the economy, stupid. The Biden economy was pretty good. Record stock market growth, record job growth, and low unemployment. The fly in the ointment, of course, was high inflation, driven by global commodities, labor shortages, and, yes, the Trillions in Stimulus That both Trump and Biden pumped into the economy to keep it afloat during COVID-19. The problem was, the Democrats did a poor job talking up the good stuff, and really weren't proactive enough on inflation, other than "Just let the fed handle it by putting home prices out of reach".

9) Transgender rights - Failure to Communicate. Democrats let Republicans run the table with this one. Every time the Republicans dragged out some college girl whining how she didn’t get a trophy, the Democrats should have brought out a transgender girl who transphobic people have abused. They didn’t do this, and the GOP got away with dehumanization.

10) Not holding Trump to account for COVID (or anything else!) – It is MIND-BOGGLING to me how Democrats weren’t reminding people at every step about how Trump mismanaged the COVID crisis (and subsequent recession).

11) Israel and Palestine- trying to thread the needle. This is where they should have taken a stand. Instead, they tried to please both sides and ended up pleasing neither one. So now you have these Arab-Americans in Dearborn, MI, who stayed home. How are things better for you now? ,

1). Joe Biden is likely the single worst president we ever had. It was not just that he spent hundreds of billions on the 2 illegal wars, the Ukraine and Palestine, but he was involved in starting them, like the 2014 Maidan Coup in the Ukraine was caused by Hunter Biden delivering bribes to the ethnic Polish generals, and Joe Biden getting Shokin illegally fired to prevent an investigation of the bribes. It was not really "inflation", but a global artificial oil shortage deliberately caused by Joe Biden blowing up the Nord Stream Pipeline from Russia to Europe. While in the US we just noticed some increased prices, it ravaged much of the rest of the world.

2). Kamala would have been fine if she had actually paid any attention to these crisis and said she was going to be different at all. Instead she either was so ignorant she did not know these massive problems were going on, or was afraid to break ranks?

7). There is no "asylum loophole". The actual problem is that economic sanctions are simply illegal and should never be done. If we had not illegally imposed economic sanctions on Venezuela, Haiti, Russia, Yemen, Iran, Syria, etc., none of these problems like with immigration would have even happened. And those against immigration simply are idiots because the only way to compete with China is vastly more immigration. Its call "economy of scale".

8). Joe Biden's economy was NOT "pretty good". What you are calling "pretty good" was just the recovery from covid, and Biden gets no credit for anything, since he wasted hundreds of billions on the 2 illegal wars, and deliberately caused the massive increase of prices on everything.

9). Transgender is not an issue. Caitlyn Jenner had no problem because she worked hard to pull it off completely. But even Caitlyn Jenner acknowledged that trans cannot possibly be allowed in competitive sports because they have decades of illegal hormone treatment that increased bone, muscle, height, and everything else. No one has a problem with transgender itself, but with the inherent cheating of trying to then compete with an obvious physical advantage.

10). I disagree with you on covid completely. Trump was right and did the right thing at first, which was to do nothing at all that might slow down herd immunity. The only thing Trump did wrong was allow Fauci to screw things up by "flattening the curve", waiting for a vax that turned out to not work at all, in any good way. The mRNA vax did nothing good against infection spread or severity, but did cause thousands of additional deaths, amputations, and harm.

11). There is nothing remotely ambiguous about Palestine. It existed for thousands of years, going back before the Philistines even, and Israel is a totally fake country created by Truman in 1948, for a bunch of arrogant Poles and Russians who are violating the Diaspora Decree of 160 AD and desecrating thousands of years of contrition.
Calling Hamas "terrorists" is like calling the French Resistance "terrorists". It's their country and they are justified in anything they can do to get it back.

Hamas created the problem, but the Palestinian people were the ones suffering.

This wasn't an issue in the rest of the world. The rest of the world saw that Israelis overreacted and were causing a lot of untold misery.

Biden should have been working for a cease-fire long before he did.

Nonsense.
Hamas did not create the starvation blockade that was killing all Palestinians.
Hamas was not the one illegally occupying 85% of Palestine.
The Palestinians were suffering more when Hamas did nothing.
A "cease-fire" is criminal when the invaders are imposing an illegal starvation blockade.

1. - wrong. Immigrants earn profits for whom they work for, as well as buying more good, paying rent, etc. So immigrants not only are good for the economy, but clearly provide more economy of scale that help us compete with China.

2. - I agree with you that banning combustion is foolish. Electric is far less efficient, costs, more and actually pollutes more. But none of that actually happened yet, so is not relevant.

3. - Marxism is the best thing that could ever happen, if you actually knew what it was. What Karl Marx wrote about was that he noticed the wealthy elite had a monopoly on capital that allowed them to enslave by using economic power. That was because mass production factories had made cottage industries obsolete. So all Marxism is really is worker pooling resources so they could create worker owned factories. That is what should have happened all along in the US. Like we should never have allowed insurance companies to take over health care and make it into an over priced monopoly.

I think Harris was a poor candidate.

But one of the problems in American Politics is that since the 22nd Amendment, the Vice-President becomes the "Heir-apparent".
Nixon (Twice), Humphrey, Mondale, Bush, Gore, Biden, and Harris. 8 Nominatons, but only 3 wins.

The 22nd Amendment had nothing to do with it.
Lots of presidents only give up after 1 term, like LBJ did.
There was absolutely nothing to say Harris had to be the next dem candidate.
Vice presidents are never a good choice, and should only be for emergencies.

...

Absolutely true

It is an issue that has two sides. Taking both sides was right. It is Hamas that created the problem

WRONG!
Hamas did not at all create the problem in Palestine, in any way.
The main cause was Menachim Begin blowing up the British peacekeepers in the King David Hotel, so that his gangs could start massacring hundreds of native villages, like Deir Yassin.

Israel had been illegally imposing a starvation blockade that was totally illegal and unacceptable.
So what Hamas did not only was totally justified, but needs to be done again and again until the illegal starvation blockade is finally lifted.

This is so batshit, I don't know where to start.

First, Israel. Like it or not, both parties are beholden to the Israeli Lobby, and that's not going to change.

Second, not sure who blew up the Nordstream pipeline, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Biden.

THird, the Maiden Revolution happened because the Russian stooge who barely got elected decided that shooting the opposition was a great idea. Nothing to do with Hunter or the Generals.

2). Kamala would have been fine if she had actually paid any attention to these crisis and said she was going to be different at all. Instead she either was so ignorant she did not know these massive problems were going on, or was afraid to break ranks?

I think it would have been impossible for her to break ranks, given she was there when all the decisions were being made. Also, she had less than 100 days to put together a campaign.

This is... kind of stupid. While I agree sanctions are stupid, a lot of these people were not coming from countries we sanctioned. The problem was that Biden knew this was a crisis and just didn't handle it well.

8). Joe Biden's economy was NOT "pretty good". What you are calling "pretty good" was just the recovery from covid, and Biden gets no credit for anything, since he wasted hundreds of billions on the 2 illegal wars, and deliberately caused the massive increase of prices on everything.

What I call pretty good.

4% or less unemployment for most of his term.
Record stock market growth.
A strong recovery from Covid.
Inflation, although it peaked globally in 2022, was down to manageable levels by 2024, and this was done without triggering a recession. .

I think you are a bit confused. GAC reduces muscle mass in MTF treatment; it doesn't increase it.

This was a non-issue, anyway, because there were fewer than 10 MTF transgender athletes even competing.

We've had this discussion before. If Trump had done what you said, the death toll would have been in multiple millions, because the health care system would have been overwealmed. Only a complete moron thinks "Doing nothing" was the right answer.

There was absolutely nothing to say Harris had to be the next dem candidate.
Vice presidents are never a good choice, and should only be for emergencies.

LBJ didn't have one term, he had 1.25 of a term. He won once in his own right, but after that he was on his own.

I was referring to Hamas created the problem with the recent war by sending over 3000 missiles into Israel and killing innocent people.

1. - wrong. Immigrants earn profits for whom they work for, as well as buying more good, paying rent, etc. So immigrants not only are good for the economy, but clearly provide more economy of scale that help us compete with China.

1- Nonsense. Firstly the US is now a welfare state. Many come here seeking those benefits.
Secondly, The Biden Junta conducted an unprecedented attack against Magadonians. He intended to use immigrants to replace Republicans. Let me remind you that in Palestine the Rothschilds used over 800,000 immigrant ASS-k-NAZI Zionists to disappear the Palestinian population. Today Palestinians are FOREIGNERS on their own Land . They are accused of being "terrorists" for defending Defending their Homeland .

2- Every country wherein Marxism is practiced is an impoverished tyranny.

Harris should have done a self-evaluation and realized that she probably wasn’t the best candidate. She didn’t. We got the result we should have expected.

3) Tim Walz- a lousy pick. He brought nothing to the table. Minnesota hasn’t gone Red since 1972. If the Democrats are seriously fighting for MN, they need to rethink their party. Shapiro, Warnock, anyone who could have helped in a Swing state would have been better.

4) The Corporate Media didn’t do its job- The Corporate Media has this weird symbiotic relationship with Trump. They know he’s repulsive, but he’s good for ratings. He’s reality TV incarnate, normalizing lousy behavior because it’s entertaining. Joe Biden could look a bit confused trying to find the exit, and you’d get speculation about his mental acuity. Trump could rant about Haitians eating cats and Arnold Palmer’s….er… attributes, and nope, nothing to see here.

5) Abortion wasn’t the magic bullet – The initial shock of Dobbs probably saved the Democrats from worse results in 2022, but it was a hand Harris overplayed. Most Americans are ambivalent about abortion. They don’t think it should be illegal, but they don’t like it much, either. Making it the centerpiece of your campaign was a bad idea.

6) Taking Asians and Hispanics for granted – This is the untold story of 2024. Trump didn’t improve his numbers with white voters. He lost a percentage point among them. He only slightly improved his standing with black voters. The two big groups that he gained were Hispanics (+14) and Asians (+6), despite the toxic and racist language coming from Trump on Immigration.

Part of the reason was that the Harris team took them for granted, whereas Trump made genuine outreach. The other part of the problem is that immigration is affecting these communities, and muddled messaging didn’t help.

7) Immigration – Immigration has become a significant crisis, which Biden and Harris did not effectively manage. Part of the problem is immigrants figured out the Asylum loophole and abused the heck out of it. The other part of the problem is that Biden did very little to discourage immigration.
